1. Design and Measurement:
Confirm that the fabricated MS
grill matches the specified
dimensions. (Both Inner & Outer
Section as well as frame).
Measure the dimensions of the
opening where the grill will be
installed.
2. Material Inspection:
Check the Fabricated MS grill
material for any defects, damages,
deviations or imperfections from
the design.
Verify that the selected material
meets the required specifications
and quality standards.
Whether Flat bars, Solid Square
Bar, M.S. Rod, etc. thickness used
in the Windows are as per
specifications of the contract.
Check the appropriate gauge and
type of mild steel for the grills.
4. Surface Preparation:
Prepare the surface where the grill
will be installed, ensuring it is clean
and free from dust, rust, or any
other contaminants.
5. Alignment:
Check the alignment of the grill to
ensure it fits properly within the
designated space.
Use a level to ensure that the grill
is straight and properly aligned.

6. Anchoring:
Securely anchor the grill to the
walls or floor or Column using
appropriate anchors and fasteners
or Clamp & Holdfast.
Make sure the anchoring is strong
enough to withstand forces like
wind or pressure.
Welding:
Weld the components together
Ensure welds are smooth and free
from defects.
If welding is required, ensure that
it is done by a qualified welder.
Check the welds for strength and
quality.
Whether joints in the Flat bars,
Solid bars etc. are welded as per
technical specifications (spot
welding or running welding)
mentioned in the contract.
Finishing:
Whether Anti-corrosive paint and
anti-rust prime coat are used on all
MS grills etc.
Apply a suitable enamel paint or
finish to protect the MS grill from
corrosion.
Ensure that the finish is even and
covers all exposed surfaces.
Grind and smooth any rough edges
or weld seams.
