Session Title: Treating others with Subject and Time: Araling Panlipunan

Session Objectives: The learner will be able to understand the concept of respect and how it
applies to neighbors.

Activity: Begin with classroom routine:
Introduction 15 mins a. Prayer

A. Introduction
Greeting: Start by warmly greeting the students
and creating a positive atmosphere.

Storytelling: Watch the short story "The Grumpy


Neighbor". After finishing, engage students in a
discussion about the actions of the characters and
how they made each other feel.

Brainstorming: Ask students to share their


experiences with neighbors (both positive and
negative). Help them understand that neighbors are
people who live nearby, whether in the same
house, apartment, or community.
B. Reflective Thinking

Personal Reflection: Show students two simple


drawings representing "respect" and "disrespect."
Ask them to individually think about how they treat
their neighbors and whether they show more respect
or disrespect. Encourage them to raise their hands
for "respect" or remain silent for "disrespect."
Class Discussion: Facilitate a discussion about why
treating others with respect is important. Guide
students to understand that respect contributes to a
happy and peaceful community.
C. Structured Values Activities

Creating "Good Neighbor"

1. Divide students into small groups.


2. Provide each group with construction paper,
markers/crayons, and glue sticks.
3. Ask them to create a poster showing ways to be a
good neighbor (e.g., sharing toys, greeting politely,
helping with chores).
4. Encourage them to use visuals and simple words.
5. Have each group present their poster to the class
and explain their ideas.

D. Group Sharing and Reflection

1. Facilitate a group discussion where students share


their experiences from the activities.
2. Ask them to reflect on what they learned about
respect and how they can apply it in their
interactions with their neighbors.
3. Encourage them to share any challenges they
might face and brainstorm solutions together.

E. Feedback and Reinforcement

1. Acknowledge and praise students for their


participation and understanding.
2. Briefly recap the key points of the lesson:
Respect is important, neighbors are
important, and there are many ways to
show respect.

3. Encourage students to continue practicing


kindness and respect towards their
neighbors at home and in their community.

Reflection 10 mins Pagkatapos ng laro, talakayin ang mga tungkulin ng mga


tong bumubuo sa paaralan.

Bigyang pansin ang mga naiiambag ng mga tao na


bumubuo sa paaralan sa pagkakaraoon ng kaayusan at
disiplina tungo sa kapayapaan sa paaralan.

Itanong:

Naranasan ba ninyo ang kanilang serbisyo?

Paano sila nakatulong sa inyo?


Wrap-Up 5 mins Para sa inyo, mahalaga baa ng mga taong bumubuo sa
ating paaralan? Bakit?

Ang mga taong bumubuo sa paaralan ay nagbibigay


serbisyo para magkaroon ng kaayusan at disiplina, tungo
sa kakpayapaan sa paaralan.
