7. COURSE DESCRIPTION : This course is designed for undergraduate engineering students with emphasis on problem solving related to societal
issues that engineers and scientists are called upon to solve. It introduces different methods of data collection
and the suitability of using a particular method for a given situation. Statically based experimental design techniques and
analysis of outcomes of experiments are discussed with the aid of statistical software.

1. A student must obtain a final grade of not lower than 75% (3.0) to pass the course.
2. The student got INC of grade must comply their balance. The INC is one (1) year of validity before it expired.
3. A final grade of 74.49 and below is equivalent of 5.0 is consider as failure.

CLASS POLICIES:
1. Base 40 grading policy is observed.
2. Late submission of assignments/assessments task shall be accepted but the possible maximum score will reduce by 50%. But, if has a valid reason,
an explanation letter should be submitted with attach evidences and signature of guardian/parents.
3. Anyone who missed an activities/quiz shall be given a score of zero. No special activities/quiz shall be given to student. For a reason of medical condition,
a special activities/quiz will be given provided that a letter request must be submitted with attached medical certificate authenticated by a medical officer.
4. Anyone suspected/ caught on cheating during quizzes the score is zero.
