Hello! My name is Macy Wetsch, and I am writing to be considered as a student teacher

candidate in your school district. I graduated from Bismarck State College with an Associate
Degree in Science with High Honors. I am currently a student at Dakota State University
working towards a degree in Physical Education with a minor in Educational Technology. I am
excited to begin student teaching because it means I am even closer to my goal of becoming a
Physical Educator.

While attending DSU, I acquired knowledge in physical education and insights into the
pedagogy of teaching. My experiences include firsthand exposure to developing effective lesson
plans and classroom management skills through field class participation. Additionally, during my
sophomore year at Bismarck State College, I spent 40 hours observing an EDFN class, providing
me with valuable insights. As I approach my student teaching, I bring strengths such as
involvement in coaching extracurricular activities, a positive and enthusiastic attitude, and a
commitment to helping students improve their physical fitness and overall health. I am eager for
the possibility of being placed within your district.

It would be an honor to serve as a student teacher candidate in your school district. I am grateful
