I. OBJECTIVE OF THE ACTIVITY

The central goal of the Balay Silangan Center revitalization initiative is to transform
the Brgy. Lipata Evacuation Center into a facility that is specifically tailored to meet
the requirements of the Balay Silangan program. Leading this significant endeavor is
the Engineering Department, which officially commenced supervision of the
revitalization project on December 4, 2023.

II. HIGHLIGHT OF THE ACTIVITY:

 In alignment with the goal of preparing for the Balay Silangan Center, the
Engineering Department assumed a leading role in supervising the
Revitalization of the Brgy. Lipata Evacuation Center. The official
commencement of the revitalization project took place on December 4, 2023.
The initial phase encompassed crucial tasks, including the replacement of
floor tiles, the establishment of a lecture room by removing obstructing walls,
repainting the walls, creating roms, and developing a library area. These
activities laid the foundation for the comprehensive revitalization of the
proposed building intended for the Balay Silangan Center throughout the
entire month of December.
III. OUTPUT/S OF THE ACTIVITY:
 The overarching aim is to ensure the completion of the building in readiness
for the scheduled launch of Balay Silangan in February 2024. The ongoing
efforts throughout December will remain dedicated to achieving this crucial
objective. A detailed and comprehensive revitalization plan has been
meticulously outlined to establish a functional and conducive environment for
the Balay Silangan Center. The plan prioritizes safety, operational efficiency,
and strict adherence to program requirements.
IV. RECOMMENDATION/RELEVANT APPLICATION IN MADAC COUNCIL:
 Sustain the momentum of the revitalization activities and adhere to the
 outlined plan to ensure the successful completion of the Balay Silangan
Center by February 2024. Regular monitoring and quality checks are
recommended to address any issues promptly and to meet the highest
standards for the center's reformation program.
