II. PROJECT DESCRIPTION

1. Brief Summary of the Project

Multi -purpose hall in barangay III is one of the problems in the community because when the
captain conducted a meeting and all the residence in barangay are include, it cannot
accommodate volumes of people because the residence of barangay III is 300. But there are
only 30% of the people can accommodate the hall so that we want to raised these building. As

a SK Chairman I proposed this project to haveimprovement As the SK Representatives I asked
an engineer about the appropriately materials to be used in the extension and improvement of
the hall and extension of our hall. All we want is to have at least 75% of the people can fit to
the Multi-Purpose Hall which is 225 people.The materials should be sturdy yet in affordable
price. The engineer recommend first class cement as the foundation of the hall to make it
strong and stable . Afterwards, we plan to begin the construction and it will take approximately
for one year to complete it.

This project proposal targets to IMPROVE AND THE EXTENSION OF MULTI PURPOSE
HALL OF BARANGGAY III BUENAVISTA MARINDUQUE. We believe that improving
this hall will help the residence of Baranggay III will resolve the crowded meeting place . Also it
will become useful to the residence of Baranggay III

2. Project Objective

In line with the present administration foregoing goal of reducing the feeling of resident that is
so crowded when they are attending in the meeting or assembly.

The main objective of the proposed project:

- To provide a good venue for the baranggay activities

- To provide comfortable and better place when they are conducting assembly and
etc.

3. Expected outputs

Stable hall with a total land area of 870 square meters. The said extension and improvement of
baranggay hall should connect to the old hall.

5.Target Benificiaries

The main target beneficiaries of the project are the resident and the officials of Baranngay

The administration of the project will be a joint undertaking of the SK(Sangguniang
Kabataan), baranggay officials, Local government unit through Hon. Mayor Nancy
Madrigal and private organization.

IV. PROJECT MANAGEMENT

The Baranggay officials and SK shall be the one in-charge of the implementation of the
project. Safety and health in the undertaking shall be ensured at all times during the
implementation phase. The same agency/office shall also monitor the project in its
implementation phase up to its completion to ensure the appropriateness of the project.

V.PROJECT SUSTAINABILITY

Achieving a sustainable infrastructure a project for baranggay is the key to allow future
projects to be proposed all for the improvement of the baranngay in providing comfortable
and safe place for everyone. Furthermore, community organizing and the active
participation of its beneficiaries and other stakeholders in various activities during project
planning and implementation can encourage sustainability in the realization of the project.
