II. EXPLAIN The Female Reproductive System
The female reproductive system is made up of the internal
and external sex organs that function in the reproduction
of new offspring.
The female reproductive system has the following
functions:
1. Produces female sex cells
2. Receives sperm cells from the male
3. Nurtures the development of and
provides
nourishment for the new individual.
Organs
 ovaries
 oviducts (Fallopian tubes)
 uterus
 vagina
 external genitalia
Location of these organs
 The internal reproductive organs of the female are
located within the pelvis, between the urinary
bladder and rectum. The uterus and the vagina are
in the middle part, with an ovary on each side of
the uterus.

Puberty involves the onset of sexual maturity and the

ability to reproduce. When a female reaches puberty, egg
cells start to develop in her ovaries that produce the sex
cells. It is also the time when the body develops the
capacity to conceive.
III. ELABORATE “You Know me Well”
After the explanation the teacher will give them an
activity which they will apply what they have learned in
the real life situation. The group will pick the number they
want from 1-4. Each number has a corresponding
question. After which, they will present their answer it in
front with matching yells.
