Activity #2

The presentation of Sir Fausto helped our class be refreshed about the
fundamentals of conducting research. The main subject of the presentation is to
identify and comprehend the difference between Qualitative and Quantitative
research. This is helpful for us researchers because knowing what particular type
of research to utilize in our study will help us be on the right path and be efficient
with our short timeframe. Qualitative research can be used to study different
subjective experiences where the data will be gathered through the use of
interviews. Quantitative research will utilize numerical data that are gathered
through the use of questionnaires. These were clearly discussed and were highly
informative because of the different examples Sir Fausto gave during the
discussion.

In conclusion, the approach that will be utilized for our proposed topic will
greatly affect how our paper will become. Knowing the appropriate approach to
use will be beneficial to the researchers and will make the nursing research
process more fluid and efficient.
