II. SESSION OUTLINE
Session Title: “My Body, My Rule”
Key Concepts: Body image is how we feel about ourselves physically and how we think
others see us.
Sexuality is often thought of a sexual orientation - whether you are
heterosexual, lesbian, gay, bisexual, etc…
Body image is part of sexuality - how we feel about our bodies.

Introduction and Activity: ZUMBA entitled “Girl in the Mirror”
Warm Up 10 mins Instruction: Students will dance.
Processing:
1. What are the insights that you have learned from the video?
2. Do you have similar experience from them?
Valuing/Wrap up Activity: “Express yourself”
10 mins Instruction: Students will make a self - declaration in a bond
paper.
Processing:
1. How do you view yourself?
2. What are the factors you have considered in viewing yourself
in such way?
Reflective Journal Activity: “Post It!”
10 mins Instruction: Students will create a public post on Facebook about
their advocacy about positive body image and sexuality.
