Indirect speech Part II

ირიბ თქმაში გვაქვს ორი სახის კითხვითი წინადადებები : კითხვითსიტყვიანი(who;

which; what; where; why etc.) და არაკითხვითსიტყვიანი.

თუ წინადადება იწყება კითხვითი სიტყვებით ირიბ თქმაში გადმოვა ask +

კონკრეტული კითხვითი სიტყვა.

“What time is it?” he asked her  he asked her what time it was

თუ წინადადება არაკითხვითსიტყვიანია, მაშინ ირიბ თქმაში იხმარება If და whether

he asked “is that shirt blue?” – he asked if/whether that shirt was blue

როდესაც წინადადებაში გამოყენებულია wonder/want to know ამ წინადადების

ფორმულირება ირიბ თქმაში გადასვლისას მოხდება შემდეგნაირად:

Wonder/want to know + whether + infinitive(ზმნის განუსაზღვრელი ფორმა)

He said: “shall I get them the gift for their anniversary or not?” - he wondered/wanted to
know whether to get them the gift for their anniversary or not.

როდესაც წინადადებაში გამოყენებულია will you/would you/ could you მაშინ ირიბ
თქმაში გადავა შემდეგი სახით:

He said: “will you buy the black top?” – he asked if I would buy the black top

“would you buy that black top?” – he asked  he asked if I would like to buy that black
top

“would you like a cup of tea?” – he asked  he offered me cup of tea.

“could you pass the salt?” – he asked  he asked me to pass the salt.
ბრძანება, თხოვნა ირიბ თქმაში გვაქვს ორი სახის: წართქმითი და უკუთქმითი.
წართქმითია წინადადება, როდესაც ადრესატი ადრესანტს რაღაცის გაკეთებას
სთხოვს, ხოლო უკუთქმითია, როდესაც პირიქით - უკრძალავს/ სთხოვს რაიმეს არ
გაკეთებას.

ბრძანებისა და თხოვნის გამოსახატავად ვიყენებთ შემდეგ ზმნებს:

Advise, ask, beg, command, encourage, entreat(ვედრება), forbid, invite, order, recommend,
remind, request, tell, warn + infinitive/ -ing(ზმნის მიხედვით)

„watch out!” he said to me  he told me to watch out

“please have some tea” she said to me  she asked me to have some tea

“let’s play some cards “  he suggested playing cards

“you’d better see the doctor” he said  he suggested that I (should) see the doctor.

უკუთქმითი ბრძანება:

“don’t run too far” he said to us  he told/warned us to not run too far

“If I were you I would dump him” she said  she advised me to dump him

“why don’t you sit down?” he said  he advised me to sit down

“don’t forget to brush your teeth” she said  she reminded me to brush my teeth.

“let’s not talk about her” he said to me  he suggested not talking about her
