ng titik w o y.
Ang diptonggo ay alin man sa mga tunog na /aw/, /ay/, /ey/, /iw/, /iy/, /oy/, o /uy/ sa isang pantig ng
salita.
Halimbawa Bahay Dalaw Giliw lumbay Apoy aliw Buhay pantukoy Daloy gulay

KLASTER Ang kambal katinig o klaster ay ang mga salitang mayroong magkadikit na dalawang
magkaibang katinig na matatagpuan laman sa iisang pantig.

PARES MINIMAL Makabuluhan ang isang tunog kapag nagagawa nitong baguhin ang kahulugan ng
isang kaligiran sa sandaling ito’y alisin o palitan. Karaniwang ginagamit ang pares minimal sa
pagpapakita ng pagkakaiba ng mga tunog ng magkakahawig ngunit magkakaibang ponema. Halimbawa

Batay- patayIDYOMA Mga pahayag na di tuwirang nagbibigay ngkahulugan. Karaniwang hinahango

bawat salita ay may tiyak na kahulugan. Maaaring magbago ang kahulugan ng isang pahayag
kungmaliang gamit na salita. Maramings alita sa Filipino ang nagkakapalitan ng gamit. Ito ay bunga ng
kakulangan ng pag-unawa sa kahulugan ng salita at gamit nito sa pangungusap. At dahil dito,
nagkakaroon tuloy ng kamalian at hindi malinaw na pagpapakahulugan sa mensahe o pahayag.
