Signal Words are also called Sequence Words. They are used in 3-5 step
directions.
First. This signal word always comes first. We use the word First on the
first step of our directions.
Next, Then, After That are interchangeable. They mean the same thing.
You can use them except in the beginning and last part of the directions.
Finally/ Lastly/ In the end/ Atlast – are used in the ending of the
directions
Directions: Listen very carefully. Using signal words like First, Then,
Next/ Next and Lastly to sequence the steps on how to prepare fresh

Some adjectives end in ly like the adjective easy. In the superlative
degree it becomes easiest. What do you notice?
Ex. Mathematics is the easiest subject for me.
There are also irregular adjectives.
In what letter does each sentence begin? (capital letter)
What is the specific nouns used in the sentence? (Mathematics)
Irregular adjectives change in spelling when compared in its
comparative and superlative degree.
Use the adjective to compare in the superlative degree.
