parts of a flower. As we see in the
picture, Most flowers have four main
parts.

Petals - the colorful parts of the flower


that attracts birds and insects.

Sepals - the green leaf-like structure


at the flower parts of the flower, also
called as the calyx that protects the
developing flower called bud.

Stamen – is to produce the pollen


grains, which house male gametes, or
sex cells, necessary for reproduction.

Pistil - the female reproductive part of


a flower. Each pistil consists of an
ovule- containing ovary, a stalk like
style, and a receptive stigma.
