Pre-Reading Activities
CVC word puzzle
Group into 2. Give each group five sets of cvc word puzzles. The first
group to build all the words, wins the game.

8:00 – 8:30 through a

Choose 2 players. The players will take turns in choosing a number


wherein there is a word behind it. If the word behind the number they
chose has short u vowel sound, they can have 1 step forward. If the
number they chose is not a short u vowel sound, they will step
backward.

8:30 – During Reading Activities


10:30  Introduce the story
