My comments:

Draw the sketch of the design on the paper.

- This sentence is not in passive voice. To make it passive, the main
verb (draw) must be in past participle, after the object of the
sentence, and after the verb to be.
E.g.: The sketch is drawn on the paper.

Choose gemstones that are suitable for the size of your design.
- The same as before.
Suitable gemstones are chosen.

Take the gold and silver grains to melt them into the shape of the design.
- Gold and silver grains are melted.

Quality control is carried out on the pieces resulting from the casting
process.
- Perfect, you wrote the sentence in passive voice!
Quality control is carried out.

The chosen ones have their imperfections removed and their edges
smoothed with a belt.
- The imperfections are removed from the chosen ones.
- Their edges are smoothed.

The piece is submerged in a liquid for an antique finish to enhance the final
look, to finish of, gemstones are embedded and then the charm is polished.
