A little progress each day, adds up to big results.

For our latest project, we embarked on the ambitious task of creating a miniature
of a modern industrial house. Inspired by our love for modern industrial architecture, we
aimed to capture the grandeur and detail of these iconic style on a smaller scale. The
miniature was scaled by 1:50 and we had given 3 weeks to do it. This narrative report
embarks on captivation journey of this miniature house.
The project began with extensive research into modern industrial design. Our
team first brainstormed ideas, exploring various themes and concepts. We, then divided
task, assigning roles based on each member strength. Some made the floor plan
manually then doing it on Autocad later on. Others did the sketch up for us to be able to
visualize the miniature before doing it. After careful consideration, we opted to use a
combination of a chip board and sintra board for the construction. Sintra provided a
sturdy base for the walls, while chip board for the base of the roof. We used PVC cover
for the windows as well as for the sliding doors. Lastly, we used Elmer's Glue and
CYNO Adhesive Glue to stick it all together. This miniature house stands as a testament
to contemporary design. A fusion of concrete, glass, and steel creates a striking facade,
hinting at the sophistication that awaits within.
We started by sketching out the layout of the house on A3 paper ensuring that
each component would fit together seamlessly. One of the main challenges we
encountered was achieving realistic textures and weathering effects on the miniature.
To overcome this, we experimented with various painting and dry brushing techniques
but it still didn't work out so we decided to print the colors of the walls instead. Creating
this miniature house was a challenging yet immensely rewarding experience. We
gained a deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship and ingenuity of the architects, as
well as valuable skills in model making. Looking back, we are proud of the attention to
detail and dedication that went into every aspect of the project. In the quiet moment of
the nights that we're doing our miniature, we found not only a sense of accomplishment,
but also a lasting memories of laughter, friendship, and the joy of creating together. We
shared experiences together with our dreams and goals in life.
In conclusion, crafting this miniature was a price of love and a testament to the
power of creativity and perseverance. Through it's design and innovative features it
captures the essence of modern industrial architecture while inspiring admiration. It
shows not only how creative our mind is but also as reminder of the joy we found in
coming together with great ideas we possessed.
