SAES-P-104
A3 Insulate overhead conductors from ground.
Sec. 4.1

Measure the insulation resistance of overhead conductor using a megger

tester. The test voltage should be 5000 volts for rated 5000 volts and
above overhead conductors. Connect megohmmeter between each SAES-P-104

phase-to-phase and each phase-to-ground. Record the insulation Sec. 4.1
resistance of each overhead conductor between phase to phase and
phase to ground for one (1) minute.

On completion of insulation resistance test, each overhead conductor SAES-P-104
