KUIH TEMPATAN
- Merupakan kuih-muih yang dihasilkan daripada
bahan tempatan dan resipinya telah diturunkan
dari generasi ke generasi.
- Kuih tempatan mencerminkan budaya penduduk
sesebuah negara.
- Selain dihidangkan sebagai hidangan harian di
rumah, kuih tempatan juga sering dihidangkan di
majlis-majlis keraian, restoran, dan hotel.
- Dikategorikan kepada dua jenis, iaitu manis dan
savouri.
- Kuih tempatan juga dapat dibahagikan kepada
beberapa jenis berdasarkan bahan asas yang
digunakan.

dalam Penyediaan Kuih Tempatan

1. Kuih tempatan disediakan daripada hasil bahan mentah

tempatan seperti tepung beras, tepung pulut, ubi keledek,
beras pulut, kelapa, dan gula melaka.
2. Pemilihan bahan yang berkualiti dapat menghasilkan
kuih tempatan yang enak dan berkualiti.
4.3.3 Jenis Bater Dalam Penyediaan Kuih Tempatan
SP: Menerangkan jenis bater dalam penyediaan kuih tempatan:
i. Bater pekat ii. Bater cair.

Penggunaan bater dalam membuat kuih tempatan ialah:

1. Asas kepada bentuk kuih tempatan.
2. Menyadur makanan.
3. Mengekalkan tekstur, zat makanan dan menyedapkan rasa.
4. Memberikan tekstur yang lebih rangup.

Bahan utama ialah tepung, cecair dan bahan perasa seperti garam atau gula.
Air biasa digunakan untuk membuat bater pekat dan cair.
Telur juga boleh digunakan sebagai pengganti dan tambahan dalam
penghasilan bater.
