BACKGROUND
The Philippine government has made its continued support to the small and medium
enterprise (SME) in the country that has been supported by the passing of the Magna Carta for
SME thru the Republic Act 8289: Magna Carta for Small enterprises which defined as any
business activity or enterprise engaged in industry, agribusiness and/or services, whether single
proprietorship, cooperative, partnership or corporation whose total assets, inclusive of those
arising from loans but exclusive of the land  on which the particular business entity’s office,
plant and equipment are situated. The SMEs has contributed a big part in the country’s
economic development. This has improved the way of living in the country side and provinces
improved by the establishment of Small Medium enterprises in their locality. The SME has also
played an important role in the community through the creation of jobs that lessen the
unemployment, improved the collection of taxes that provided more resource for the
government in the implementation of public services which clearly emphasize the positive
factors of the presence of the SME organization in every community. 
The gathering of the SMEs that includes different entrepreneurs, businessmen, shareholders
and stakeholders even the presence of the government sector will provide an avenue for the
improvement of current situation of the SME in the country. This could also provide a window
for partnership for improvement, and exchanging ideas and proposals that can benefit the
members of the organization and the stakeholders.

Activity venue/methodologies

The activity will be hosted at the Filipiniana Resort Hotel at Brgy.

Nacoco, Calapan City for one night on January 20, 2022 7:00pm
onwards.

The event will be at the pool side area that will be surrounded by round
tables and a bar at the corner of the hall. The event will provide an
escort to assist everyone their designated tables. Please see attached
layout.

City, a registered business SMEs in the City of Calapan and represented herein by JENIFFER
AQUINO, herein referred to us the FIRST PARTY;

ORIENTAL MINDORO SME ASSOCIATION represented by
MS. JOENINA ALEGRE, President, of legal age, resident of Balite, Calapan City, hereinafter
referred to us the SECOND PARTY.
 
WITNESSETH:
 
WHEREAS, the JEALAINES PARTY NEEDS AND CATERING SERVICES is the lead catering
service of Filipiniana Resort Hotel for the conduct of SME Dinner Party on January 20, 2022 at
Filipiniana Resort Hotel in the Province of Oriental Mindoro, Calapan City;
 
WHEREAS, the first party has funded the amount of P395,000.00 for meals and snacks and drinks
for SME Dinner Party on January 20, 2022 during the said activity;
 
WHEREAS, the Second Party has tapped the services of the First Party for the meals and snacks,
drink, venue during the conduct of SME Dinner Party;
 
WHEREAS, the First Party has available resources and services to supply the Second Party;
 
WHEREAS, the SECOND PARTY shall pay the FIRST PARTY under the SME association fund;
