PERSONALITY AND TEACHER'S FUNCTIONS IN MODERN SOCIETY
AND ECONOMIC CHANGES
Summary
The paper deals with teacher's role and function in modern school of the 21st
century. The role of the teacher has been defined through the traits of successful teacher. The author specially points out anthropological and human teacher traits which
could be divided into three categories: personal, professional and social virtues. The
mentioned characteristics are important for choosing candidates for teacher's vocation
as well as for their further professional advancement.
