Project Description interfaces and business processes to develop a prototype drone delivery system for use at four Wilmont’s Pharmacy locations in San Francisco, CA.
To determine the feasibility of delivering
Project Purpose prescriptions and drugstore items by flying drone. The concept prototype will help to determine if this type of delivery method will be cost effective and enhance Wilmont’s high level of customer service.
During the pilot program DroneTech will provide (4)
new drones that will be modified to reflect the Wilmont’s corporate colours and logo. Scope/Boundaries DroneTech will provide drone piloting and product delivery. Online order processing and customer willingness surveys will be handled jointly with Wilmont’s assisting in the integration of IT Systems.
Wilmont’s management will approve the customers
and send confirmations. Drone delivery will not be permitted to customers in apartment buildings.
Project must appear seamless to Wilmont Pharmacy
Requirements customers. Ensure the security of Wilmont’s business information is not compromised. Project team member will be compensated as
outlined in Cost Management Plan. Assumptions & Constraints Wilmont’s will provide all funding for the Pilot Study.
