Lesson Objective:
After watching a video, use of visual aid and class discussion students will be able to explain and list two
school rules and how it helps them become responsible and safe at school.

Lesson Content:
What is meant by rules?
A statement that tells you what is allowed or what will happen within a particular system.

Why is school rules important in school?

 When students follow school rules it can lead to staying safe and focused.
 School rules are important to maintain discipline.
What are some rules?
 Treat everyone with respect.
 Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
 Stay in assigned areas.

 Don't push people while walking and playing

Suggested Activities/Procedures:
Introductory Activities (__5__ mins)
A video will be shown to students about rule in school .

Students will discuss the video and list some rules they have at home.

Student will be asked whether or not they think rules are important and why?

Developmental Activities/Procedures (_7___ mins

Teacher will define what is meant by rules.
A discussion will be held about why rules are important inside a classroom as well as out of the classroom.
Teacher will list some rules and explain how they help student become responsible and be safe..

Culmination & Closure (3mins.):

 Student will be place in groups of two and present two rule and explain if the rule help them
become responsible or be safe to the class..
