Učenici govore rešenja, nastavnik piše na tabli, poziva učenike da ispravljaju greške i po potrebi daje objašnjenja.
Nastavnik izgovori i na tabli napiše – 1 I can ride a bike. 2 I could ride a bike when I was five. – pita – Which of the
sentences describes my ability to ride a bike now and my ability to ride a bike in the past? Povede razgovor – can you
write in English? Could you write in English when you were 4? What could you do when you were 5? Could you
swim / climb trees / play football...?
Exercise 8. Read the sentences and complete the rules. (u paru + frontalno)
Učenici pročitaju rečenice i dopunjavaju pravila u paru. Uradi se kratka provera – frontalno (could, couldn’t, Could)
Exercise 9. Write sentences with could / couldn’t. (individualno + u paru – sastavljanje rečenica po modelu –
upotreba glagola could / couldn’t)
Nastavnik kaže – Write sentences with could / couldn’t individually and compare them with your partner. Nastavnik
obilazi, po potrebi pomaže. Provera se radi frontalno.
Nastavnik na tabli napiše 4 rečenice koje učenici treba da preformulišu upotrebom glagola can, can’t, could,
couldn’t. Rade u paru, nastavnik po potrebi pomaže. Rečenice u zagradi su rešenja.
10. Activate. Talk to your partner about what they could or couldn’t do when they were younger. (u paru)
Učenici pročitaju instrukciju i razgovaraju u parovima. Nastavnik obilazi, prati, učestvuje. Nekoliko učenika kaže šta
je njihov par umeo / nije umeo da radi kada je bio mlađi.
