What is the didactic?

According to the video, Didactics tell us how to teach mathematical concepts to ensure

students gain a mastery level understanding of mathematics.

2. According to the video, why is it important the didactics?

Didactics is important in pedagogy because it allows the teaching task to be carried out with

quality, avoids routine, and enables reflection on the different teaching strategies.

3. According to the video, what is a main difference between the Singapore Lesson and

the American lesson?

The Singapore method in mathematics develops understanding, retention, taste for the

application of mathematics.

4. According to the video, Dr. Gardiner is more inclined towards Singapore books or

American Books, why?

Dr Gardiner, in my opinion, prefers the Singaporean books because in these you see the

continuity of the process that the students take from year to year.

5. What do you think of didactics of mathematics after watching the video?

The didactics of mathematics that is dedicated to identifying and explaining phenomena, and

trying to solve problems, both related to the teaching and learning of mathematics
