MATERIALS ACTIVITIES
Circle Time TIME: 10 minutes
 Review where students should put their bags. 
Weather  Review the classroom rules.
flashcards  Review the weather. Review; Sunny, rainy, cloudy. Ask students ' How ‘s the weather
today?' "Today is ——”
 Play the name game. Use a toy in order to review students' names – First demonstrate with
Gogo.
OBJECTIVES:
Students are warmed-up and ready for the class.
Students will review their names as well as important classroom rules and other important topics.

Look at Me TIME: 40 minutes


Teacher, children 
make a circle
flashcards  Introduce new words; teacher, children, make a circle and make the associated actions to
help students remember
 Do a review activity. The teacher will make an action and the students will shout out the
associated word.
 Review the phrases, “Hello children.” “Hello teacher.” wave as I do so
 Do a review activity. The teacher will wave and say “Hello children.” and the students will
wave back and respond “Hello teacher.”
 Play the puppet game. Call students one by one to role play with the teacher.
 Ask the students to ‘make a circle’
 Review the phrase ‘make a circle’ with the students
 Play a review game. Teacher says.
 Review the word listen. Make associated action in order to get students to remember i.e
pulling on ear
 Sing the hi, hello song with the students
 Have students move their chairs close to the television and read through the Look at Me
book as a class.
 Read the sentences on the television and have the students repeat
 When finished, go into the workbook and show the students how to complete the activities.
When finished, have students move to the table and complete the work.

OBJECTIVES:
Students will review more simple English greeting phrases and how to respond to them. Students will review new
vocabulary and phrases as well as their meaning

Building Blocks TIME: 20 minutes


Building block  Review the following vocabulary words: learn, play, dance, read, sing using flashcards
flashcards  Do a review activity. The teacher will show the students a flashcard and make an associated
action and the students will shout the building block word
 Play musical rings. Students circle a ring as music plays when music stops, they jump in the
ring, the last student to do so, will review the words

OBJECTIVES:
Students will review new vocabulary words and the actions associated with them

Music and Movements + My ABCs TIME: 20 minutes


 Move students to the television in order to sing and dance along to the walking, walking 
Letter C flashcard song
 Move the students back to the white board and sing the ABC song.
 Review letters A and B as well as their phonetic sound with the students
 Introduce the letter C and teach the students it's sound.
 Demonstrate to students how the letter C is written and have them try demonstrate how it’s
written, using their fingers
 Play a review game. Pass and say.
 Teach students new vocabulary words associated with the letter C
 Hand them their worksheets and move them to the table so they can complete their work.

OBJECTIVES:
Students will review letters A and B
Students will be introduced to the letter C.
Students will be able to recognize the letter C and how to make the sound associated with it.
Students will learn new vocabulary words associated with the letter C.
