Statement of Purpose

About Me:
My name is Rauf Jaferi; I am a Pakistani and I live in Islamabad. I am very passionate
about improving the economic and financial conditions of my community and to do something
innovative that will uplift us socially and morally. I realize that to improve my own existence
and to improve the social, economic and moral conditions of my family and community is to
acquire knowledge and then apply it to achieving my goals.
I am young, energetic, hardworking and passionate to become a useful member of the
society. I have vastly travelled and lived in multi-cultural environment. I am emotional about my
parents and some of my teachers.
Family Background:
I belong to a very educated and sentient family. It currently consists of four people that
include my parents and a very loving sister and me. My ancestors were elites in India during the
British Raj and remained so even afterwards until the 1970s. Since are an educated family of
professionals, my uncles and aunts in India as well as those in Pakistan are well-to-do doctors,
surgeons, university professors, senior executives and government officials. My father is
working for the humanitarian cause and relief work for the deprived people in different
countries.
Educational Background & Extra-curricular Activities:
Because of the nature of my father’s work, the family moved from one country to another
during my formative years. I and my sister got our primary education in several countries. It
started in Pakistan, then we moved to India, then to Sudan, then to Kenya and then finally to
Edison New Jersey.
I have completed my high school graduation from Edison, New Jersey USA in 2008. I
now have a Bachelors of Business Administration degree with major in Economics from the
American University in Dubai (AUD).
Choosing Economics for my major in the University has substantially widened my
horizon. It has provided a new vision. I have not only studied Economics and did projects and
course work, but also social sciences and history subjects were also part of my education
curricula.
I have done a few voluntary activities in Dubai and Pakistan; I participated in the funds
collection campaign for the blind society in Nairobi, Kenya; the big book sale activity organized
in Dubai; I have completed a six weeks training and completion in the business wars simulation.
These volunteer activities and training have given me flair of the real world and have helped me
find solution to problems in a team environment and to act as a team player.
Internships & Work Experience:
As a result of being a full time student I do not have a lot of work experience to boast. I
do have a few internships though. These are in addition to a two-year assignment with Rayyan
Air, a local Pakistani commercial company.
In august of 2016, I attended and successfully completed the Entrepreneur Training
Program hosted by Capital Development Authority (CDA) Islamabad, Pakistan
In October of 2016 I have done two internships as a Banking and Financial Analyst,
Intern, Citibank, Dubai, and Finance intern Springs International, (NGO implementing
Development projects) in Islamabad Pakistan.
In 2017 I did another two month internship from January of 2017 to February of 2017 as
a Financial Assessment and Financial Grants Analysis Intern, at the US Small Grants
Ambassador’s Fund Program US-SGAFP (NGO), Islamabad, Pakistan.
During my education at the American University in Dubai, I worked part time as an
administrative assistant for Rayyan Air office in Dubai from January 2011 to December 2014.
After completing my BBA graduation, I also worked for Rayyan Air office in Islamabad
from January 2017 to December 2018.
About Trimester III & Recent Work Experience
After trimester two of 2019 in October 2019 at Deakin I took a short break to visit my
family in Pakistan, before taking up online certifications in Hotel Management and also in
Supply Chain Management while waiting to resume my masters program in the February 2020
trimester. In the meantime I also carried out research and efforts to change over to Masters in
Business Administration (for reasons mentioned in these SOPs).
During this period I have already completed an online certification in Hospitality and
Tourism Management (HTM) from University of Maryland Eastern Shore, USA. I am currently
doing another online certification in Supply Chain Management from Massachusetts Institute of
Technology (MIT), USA . In addition to this I have an interest in electronics and gadgets. My
hobby is to learn about different type’s software, gadgets, and electronics items available and
coming soon in the market. Because of my interest and my hobby I am also currently enrolled in
a Diploma course in Web Design and AutoCAD with the CNEX Institute of Technology.
Why International Masters of Business Administration (Finance)?
1. Why I have chosen Master of Business Administration
There are several reasons for which I have chosen Masters of Business Administration
program. The first and foremost reason is that I have completed my bachelor degree in Business
Administration with a major in Economics. To continue my studies in business administration is
actually the logical sequence of my advanced degree and higher education. Therefore, it has
always been my intention to do a Master in Business Administration. It was with this very
intention that I selected Business Administration in my undergraduate program also.
But I do have a slight deviation from my chosen line of education. I enrolled last year for
Master of Professional Accounting and Finance at Deakin University in Melbourne. But I want
to revert back to master of business administration. While enrolled in Masters of Professional
Accounting and Finance at Deakin, I realized that Accounting requires a higher level of aptitude
and skills in mathematics than generally required in management subjects. I now realize it may
have been a mistake to change my line of studies from management to Professional Accounting.
Master in Business Administration would provide me flexibility to choose a career in one
of the several disciplines in this field; from general management to HR management, supply
chain and logistics, management financial management. This would also provide me flexibility
in choosing an industry. It would open a wider field for profitable career.
My research has indicated to me that doing master in business administration would
develop my leadership skills. It would provide me the ability to think strategically and resolve
issues and manage matters in a more effective manner.
2. How your proposed program is relevant to your previous study and/or
employment
I have completed my bachelor degree in Business Administration (BBA) from the
American University in Dubai, with a major in Economics. To continue my studies in business
administration is actually the logical sequence of my advanced degree and higher education.
A review of the courses being offered by UniSA indicates that I have already studied the
basic units of these courses during my BBA. Already having a basic knowledge of these courses
will contribute in getting good grades. This is also an incentive to join the Master of Business
Administration program.
But I do have a slight deviation from my chosen line of education. I am currently enrolled
(since last year) in Master of Professional Accounting and Finance. However, I find it difficult to
handle Accounting subjects that are mainly focused on mathematics and calculations rather than
theoretical or practical components; my strength is in a combination of mathematics and theory
as well as practical projects that also have leadership and managerial aspects. As a result of this,
I have decided to revert back to Masters in Business Administration with a major in management
and/or finance. An assessment of my past performance at Deakin, which is also based upon
discussion with my teachers and professors, clearly indicates that this change of course is
essential for me to succeed in my future goals in life. This conclusion is also based upon a
detailed review of subjects and course outcomes for MBA subjects at various other universities.
Immediately after the first few classes at Deakin, I realized my mistake in selecting
Professional Accounting instead of continuing in the business administration field. It was then I
decided to switch back to business administration.
Why the University of South Australia (UniSA)?
I would like to move to UniSA mainly because of the costs being more affordable, and
also because of the MBA program offered by the University. I am currently enrolled at Deakin
University where the cost is more expensive.
Also the cost of living in Adelaide is comparatively cheaper than Melbourne. In addition,
to the UniSA I have explored the following universities. But the costs are either more expensive
or the university is not offering the course I want to enroll for.

Besides being affordable, UniSA has the course curriculum which maintains a balance
between my BBA background, my interests in international business, and finance and business
management courses with a capstone project to provide a hand on practical experience in a
professional environment.
When I started looking for various university options throughout Australia, after deciding
to revert back to MBA, I compared Universities of “Group of 8” like The University of Sydney
and Deakin University, etc. Even though I was eligible for every university, it was the cost of the
courses that made it difficult for me to choose between them.
Above are the universities I had shortlisted. There were multiple reasons for which I
decided to choose the University of South Australia which is listed below:
✓ Ranking: - The UniSA Business School is ranked in the top one per cent
worldwide and has been awarded an overall five stars for excellence in the QS
Stars Ratings 2019. UniSA is ranked in the World Top 150 in Business and
Economics.
✓ Location: - Living cost in Adelaide is 10% - 12% less than that of major cities
like Melbourne and Sydney. More importantly, there would be fewer distractions,
and I will get ample time to focus on my studies.
✓ Accreditation: - UniSA Business School is fully accredited by EQUIS, which
accredited fewer than 200 universities worldwide. UniSA is also a member of
Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA). UniSA Business School is one of
just ten institutions in Australia and 187 globally to be accredited by EQUIS.
✓ Real-world connections: - University of South Australia Executive Partners
Program may be a unique opportunity for me, if allowed to join the program, to
engage with highly successful industry executives. I see that as a major step to
enhance my learning experience. Through this program I may get an opportunity
to build confidence and learn the ways of dealing in the business world. I am
hoping this would give me a competitive edge. The Executive Partners are active,
semi-retired or recently retired business professionals who have a wealth of
knowledge; mere interaction with them would be invaluable experience.
Why am I moving from Deakin University, Melbourne?
While consideration of the cost of education at Deakin as well as the cost of living in
Melbourne as compared to other places and other universities is an important, and perhaps the
foremost factor, my desire to revert back to Master of Business Administration is yet another
reason; Deakin University has a pre-requisite that to gain admission to their MBA program, the
candidate must have a minimum three years of relevant work experience.
I must revert back to my original plan of education which is master of business
administration instead of professional accounting; the accounting subjects are mainly focused on
mathematics and calculations rather than theoretical or practical components; my strength is in a
combination of mathematics and theory as well as practical projects that also have leadership and
managerial aspects.
As a result of this, I have decided to revert back to Masters in Business Administration
with a major in management and/or finance. An assessment of my past performance at Deakin,
which is also based upon discussion with my teachers and professors, clearly indicates that this
change of course is essential for me to succeed in my future goals in life. This conclusion is also
based upon a detailed review of subjects and course outcomes for MBA subjects at various other
universities.
Another reason to move from Deakin is that I am struggling with the examination there; I
am finding it challenging to adapt to the grading and marking policies at Deakin. My recent
exam results indicate that I am successful only in a couple of subjects. According to the Deakin
University grading and marking policies, they require students to obtain a minimum percentage
during the final exams. If any student is unable to clear the required hurdle, then all their
academic efforts, their contributions during the trimester, the good grades in assignments,
quizzes and classwork, participation in group/class and seminar discussions is disregarded. This
clearly shows that they are testing students’ memory, not his/her knowledge!
While this may indicate a poor performance in the exams, it necessarily does not indicate
poor academic performance. My academic performance cannot be rated as poor because I have
obtained above average grades during various assignments, quizzes, classwork, group-
assignments, researches, etc. I am attaching a screenshot from my Deakin Sync portal that
clearly confirms my statement. The comment made by my teachers and professors also portrays
an above average academic performance.
It is clearly evident from the attached screenshot that in MAF702 Financial Markets
course in first Trimester (that I was unsuccessful in the exam) I have obtained a 98.8% in
Assessments and a 92.5% in assignments. These are considered as High Distinction. In another
course MPA701Accounting, I have obtained in T1 89.57% and 100% grades in assessments; in
another assessment in the same subject, I have obtained 74.58%. This are also High Distinction
and above average. In MLC707 Business Law course, I have scored 84% marks in assessments,
which also is High Distinction and above average. Like the above courses it also can be verified
from the attached screenshot. In MPF753 Corporate Finance during T1 on an average I obtained
95.1% in assessments. I had similar high grades and performance in T2 also, but those too were
not considered as a yardstick for judging my knowledge.
These performances were ignored in the final examination merely because I was unable
to obtain the required minimum grades.
Why Australia?
I have chosen Australia for my MBA because I have been studying here for the past year.
I have enjoyed living, studying and interacting with people in Australia. I find teachers, peers
and university staff all equally helpful. The climatic condition here is very similar to that part of
my own country where I live. My sponsors (my parents) do not find any problems in affording
my cost of education here. Above all education in Australia is world class and will go a long way
in securing job and competing with others.
Now if I move out of Australia without completing my education and without achieving
my goals, not only my stay here would go down the drain, I will have to start from scratch; I
think I would completely lose the thread of my education and my life.
Initially when I started my research for further studies, after my BBA graduation from the
American University in Dubai, I did not know much about educational institutions, education
system, living conditions, and costs of living in Australia and European countries. I, therefore,
started my research by talking to people for determining which country’s educational
qualifications had better opportunities of job prospects in Pakistan as well as in the Gulf
countries. Amazingly, Australian and American educational institutions were recommended far
ahead of any other countries, including the United Kingdom!
I researched educational institutions in the UK, Canada, United States, Australia and
China. The cost of education in UK, Canada and USA is prohibitive. The academic costs plus the
cost of living there is more than twice the cost of education in Australia; plus Australian
universities offer world class education and are well respected by prospective employers.
It was then that I started looking in detail at Australia; there were several educational
expos in Pakistan where the Australian universities had representatives who briefed the
prospective students. I gather the information and tried to analyze it; some of these actually sank
in but some could not register in my mind. So I made the following four criteria in my mind for a
place to apply for Master’s Degree:
• Academic costs (tuition fees, cost of education material etc.)
• Living costs (accommodation, utilities, food, local transport, miscellaneous)
• Quality of education and ranking of educational institution
• Availability of Halal food and Indian/Pakistani spices and/or food
It was on the basis of these that I selected Australia and was very fortunate to get
enrollment at Deakin. I was so excited that I did not even think about the difficulties I was likely
to face at Deakin University.
So this is how I selected Australia for my future education. I contacted AEO
(Australian Education Office), a private agency that assists the universities to find
eligible student for their enrollment. AEO are the accredited agents for Deakin and
UniSA. They also not only recommended that I apply to Deakin but also very
proactively assisted me getting my first confirmation of enrollment from there.
Now that I have spent one year in Australia, I am determined to complete my education
here and return back successfully.
Australian education providers are well perceived all over the world. Their international
accreditations and CRICOS make these education providers to be more reliable for international
students. I think my opting for Australia for Masters shall prove to be fruitful.
Why not Pakistan?
Pakistan is considered as one of the developing economies in the region. Several
economic activities such as CPEC are going on in our country, due to which the economy is
developing at a steady pace; while on the other hand, Australia is one of the well-developed
economies in the world. The difference between the economies of both these countries directly
imposes its impact on the preferences given by the government to its education sector. Although
Pakistani institutions do have accreditation with foreign universities, however, still in some
instances they are still lacking behind the other nations of the world. Australia is a country that
has a vast background with educational institutions that offer a perfect source of knowledge,
which is a combination of curriculum and practical knowledge, Australia is the best place where
I can get exposure as well develop my professional skills and abilities to the max.
While I was surfing on the internet and reading blogs and articles about the education
system of Australia, I came to know that in Australia, assessment of students is based on the
practical knowledge and work that they do instead of simply taking the exam only, as it is in
Pakistan. This aspect of Australian examination system attracts me a lot because this will help
me to learn cross cultured skills. I personally compared the Pakistani and Australian education
system based on a few differences and I have discussed them in detail below.
1. In developed countries like Australia, they do have highly advanced infrastructure and
equipped with technology in the institutions as compared to Pakistan where we are
lacking far behind in these advancements. Furthermore, the manner in which the
curriculum is developed is way too different in Australian institutions as compared to
Pakistan where the same courses are taught each year without any changes.
2. Universities in Australia offer lucrative scholarships for international students with good
academic scores. I want myself to be enrolled in such a globally recognized university. I
am not applying for scholarship at this stage, but that can be considered as an option
going forward.
3. While studying at Deakin University in Melbourne, because I was struggling with the
accounting subjects due to a lack of effective background in mathematics, I was unable to
concentrate on finding part time jobs. I felt that I needed to focus and put more effort in
accounting subjects. However, with subjects where I have some prior basic information, I
may be able to spend a few hours gaining experience through a part time job in Australia.
4. While studying in one of the best universities in Australia and one of the top-ranked
universities in the world, I would have high chances of getting a lucrative job back in
Pakistan. Thus, studying in Australia would definitely give me success and prosperity in
the future.
Why Adelaide?
The criteria for moving to Adelaide are more or less the same that I applied when
determining to move to Australia last year. Those criteria are still valid and probably remain so
until I complete my education and return back to Pakistan.
Following are the main reasons for moving to Adelaide:
1. The university I am applying is located in Adelaide. I am not going to UniSA because
it is located in Adelaide; rather, it is the other way round. I am planning to move to
Adelaide from Melbourne, because of UniSA being in Adelaide. If UniSA was in
another city, I would have moved to that place.
2. An added incentive for going to Adelaide is that the cost of living is comparatively
less than Melbourne. His means I may have a little more budget for other stuff.
3. A research on internet has indicated that there are several Halal meat shops and
restaurants near UniSA campus; therefore, I do not expect any issues from that count.
It would have been tough to choose had there not been food catering to my dietary
restrictions; but I think I would still have decided in the favor of moving to UniSA.
Incentives for Returning to Pakistan:
Once I complete my degree in Masters of International Business Administration, I
will come back to Pakistan because I have my whole family here and I have strong ties
with them.
With the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) being implemented,
Pakistani economy is improving at a faster pace. Prospects of new businesses and jobs
are improving in the country. Already there are confirmed news reports of Pakistan’s
export increasing by more than 26% in the current fiscal year. As a result of new
Government policies the Textile industry is once again operating at full capacity that is a
major contribution to the economic growth, which in turn would result in increased
employment rate.
I have already discussed the prospects of a job with Rayyan Air, with whom I
worked before going to Melbourne. I hope to resume with them for a start. Even though I
do not have a confirm offer yet from them, but they have confirmed to consider me for a
job when I return back. They have not mentioned any specifics about roles or
remuneration and have told me that it will depend upon my knowledge and abilities after
I have completed my post graduate degree.
Once I have completed my degree, I will have at least a foothold to start from. I
am not expecting a very high salary initially, because I would not have much experience
outside my academic life. The part time odd jobs that I may get from time to time during
my course work may not be good enough to put me in a high level executive position.
Additionally because, of the Coronavirus job perspective have changed. The massive
unemployment may go away by the time I complete my studies. But in dealing with that,
I am not the only one. I am lucky in the sense that my father has a job and will be able to
support my education and cost of living.
We have family property in Pakistan worth close to US$ 700,000 in equivalent
local currency; this is another attraction for me return back home.
The scope of employment in Pakistan was improving just before the lock down,
due to new policies and incentives being offered by the government and heavy Chinese
investments in Pakistan. As part of the CPEC investments, new ports and new industries
are being set up. And infrastructure is being developed. Furthermore, Pakistan’s export is
increasing and the Textile sector is improving; there is a huge prospect of jobs and
employment in the next 2 – 4 years in Pakistan. The growth of Pakistan economy as a
result of CPEC and other government’s trade and commerce policies and incentives these
and indigenous companies have already started showing increased balance sheet and a
positive trend.
The lock down, because of the COVID-19 has dented Pakistan’s economy like the
rest of the world but as Prime Minister Imran Khan has assured the nation, we will
bounce back strongly
Career Options after Returning to Pakistan:
By enrolling for the Masters of Business Administration at UniSA, I hope to
widen my perspective about management, leadership and strategic thinking. I hope to
benefit from a curriculum that is based upon most recent research and a faculty that is
dedicated to quench the thirst for knowledge of its students. This is the impression I have
from the UniSA and from talking to some people who had a touch with UniSA.
I am assuming that upon successful completion of Masters in Business
Administration at UniSA, I would have gained experience and knowledge based on real-
life business case studies and real-life issues in industries and businesses.
Employers generally look for managers who can resolve complex issues through
innovative and skilful strategic thinking. They prefer people, who even though, lack
experience, but are confident to hit the ground running.
My understanding of courses and projects at UniSA is such that it will provide a
deep insight in real-life issues and would give a chance to the students, such as myself to
think of innovative ways of resolving those issues. Based on my discussions and
consultations as well as a research of the UniSA website, I think the graduates from
UniSA are capable of thinking outside the box. If those graduates are able to demonstrate
these qualities to prospective employers, they will surely land lucrative jobs.
So, my aim and my thinking is that a successful completion of this program will
equip me with the skills to think strategically, to act as a leader, to be a successful
manager, to provide innovative ideas and out of box solutions and above all to hit the
ground running.
With the current deteriorating economic and financial conditions of almost all the
countries in the world, it is difficult to predict a job in any particular sector. With millions
and millions of unemployed people in the US, Europe, Middle East, Far East, South Asia,
Africa and even in Australia and New Zeeland it is impossible to predict what kind of job
will I get after I complete my MBA program from UniSA. But I know for sure that if I
have gained the right skills from my education at UniSA, and if I have extracted the
maximum benefits by acquiring all the necessary skills cited in above paragraphs in this
section I will be noticed and selected for a suitable job sooner rather than later.
The economy in Pakistan has already started opening gradually. The construction
industry has resumed activities, the banking sector has started operations, the leather
industry has resumed, manufacturers of medical and surgical equipment have
commenced production; even export of these items has started. There are strong
indicators that a reasonably high growth rate will be set as target and achieved for the
next couple of years. That is the timeline I am looking to land a job in Islamabad or
Karachi.
Before the start of COVID-19, the unemployment rate in Pakistan had a slight
downward trend from 3.44% in 2016 to 3.02% in 2019
(https://www.statista.com/statistics/383735/unemployment-rate-in-pakistan/). This could
have been a good news for prospective job-seekers like me. However, the COVID-19 has
made everything so much unpredictable.
In order to promote the economy, the government in Pakistan recently announced
a “business-friendly” budget. The aim of the government is to get private sector
involvement in production and manufacturing industry, in construction industry, etc. If
this trend continues, I am confident that I will find a suitable managerial position as soon
as I return to Pakistan after successfully completing my MBA in Australia.
The Pakistani government’s new budget announced in June 2020 focused on
fiscal management, revenue mobilization, measures for economic stabilization and
growth, reduction in non-development expenditures, boosting exports, job creation and
people friendly policies for the socioeconomic prosperity of the country.
1.1592020205055). All these measures by the government is an indication that new
graduates, especially those from good reputable educational institutions will not only not
have difficulty in finding jobs but would have an incentive to return to Pakistan.
Having said all this I have researched the net to see what options do I have
currently, if I had the qualification that I am going to pursue at UniSA. Based on this I
notice that the leading Pakistani employment search engine, www.rozee.com.pk has
several jobs that could be of interest to me. As of 14 July 2020 there are 77 accounting
jobs of different level. Those at the managerial level require masters degree including
Master in Business Administration. There are fewer jobs in the banking sector only about
10 jobs currently. The website has advertised some 144 management jobs; all managerial
positions require master level degree including Master in Business Administration.
Since at this stage I am looking to a full time academic engagement at UniSA, I
am not interested in applying for any of these jobs. Not only that, until I successfully
complete my Masters in Business Administration, I will not qualify and will not be able
to get any of these jobs even if I applied. But as indicated on www.rozee.com.pk there is
a huge potential and incentive for me to return back to my country and family and find a
suitable employment.
According, my research into the expected pay for people with MBA degree from
a well reputed international university an article published on
https://www.payscale.com/research/PK/Degree=Master_of_Business_Administration_(M
BA)/Salary in 2019 states that the expected salaries range for people with a Master of
Business Administration (MBA) degree is between 310k minimum to approximately 4m
maximum on average in Pakistan. It is also stated in the article that the estimated pay
ranges for people with a Master of Business Administration working in the banking
sector can earn up to 830k and in Unilever, ABB Ltd., AC Nielsen Corp up to 2m on
average depending on the level experience.
However, as mentioned above due to the rapid spread Novel Corona Virus
pandemic has brought economic activity to a near halt. The country has been placed
under a partial lockdown. The closure of non-essential businesses and domestic supply
chain disruptions are having a significant impact on production, wholesale and retail
trade and transport, storage and communication, the largest sub-sectors of the services
sector. The drop in domestic and global demand is also compounding the strains on the
industrial sector. In addition, the banking sector and the country’s main industrial sector
textiles and apparel is also highly exposed to COVID-19 related disruptions, as a result of
this the jobs have become difficult to find causing the unemployment rate to rise and
resulting in the expected salaries change in favor of employers.

for dorm fees and other living expenditure and a$2,500 for travel to/from Australia. My
father’s income is currently US$159,767 per annum (this includes his salary of
US$112,706 and allowances such as post differential 30% and COLA US$ 13,250. His

My understanding of Australian Visa Conditions:
Visa conditions are the rules of established by the Australian Government.
Currently I have a type 500 Student Visa that is based on my Confirmation of Enrolment
by the Deakin University. According to this visa type:
➢ I am allowed to do part time work up to a maximum of 40 hours per fortnight. Kindly
➢ I have contacted a lawyer in Melbourne who has advised me that if I have to remove
move from Deakin, I will have to complete their formalities and then they would
assist me in transferring my visa. I am not sure though to what extent this is true.
➢ I am required to complete my studies within the duration of my visa. My visa can
be extended on certain conditions only, of which following are applicable to my
case:
o Failed final course(s) or failed occasional courses throughout the program
o Granted a reduced study load due to an intervention strategy
o Approved leave of absence.
✓ Visa conditions

Accommodation options
Since I am very unfamiliar with Adelaide and UniSA, I have tried to explore possibilities
through internet. The option that has appealed to me is UniSA’s Student Accommodation by
Urbanest. I understand it is located on Bank Street and is only 7 minutes or 12 minutes from the
University campus.
My needs are basic. I would like to have a single room with a small kitchenette and
washroom/ bathroom not too far away from the university campus. Utilities and internet bills
may be included in the rent. That is all I need. I stayed for one year at Deakin Residential located
at the Burwood campus, in a room that had these features.
Based on this I will start contacting for accommodation as soon as I have a Confirmation
of Enrolment.
Conclusion:
As the above shows, I am highly motivated and ambitious in pursuing my master’s
degree, in Australia. Based on my research I would like to continue my education in Australia,
because of the affordability of the costs for a world-class education as compared to other
developed countries, such as US and UK; degrees from an Australian university are not only
recognized in Pakistan, but also preferred by employers; therefore, this will provide me a better
chance of finding jobs in Pakistan when I return back after completing my degree
