By Mike Brandt
Doesn’t seem possible that the
All-Class State Cross Country Meet
is here. It seems like the season
had just started, but here it is the
middle of October and the state
meet is Saturday in Missoula at the
University of Montana Golf Course.
The boys will run at 1:10 and the
girls at 2:10.
Eureka is the defending boys
champions, while Townsend is
the defending girls champions.
Glasgow finished sixth in the boys
competition and the girls eighth.
Last year’s champions Zander
Ackerman of Wolf Point and Hallie
Hatherway of Manhattan have
graduated. In fact the top four in
the boys race have graduated. Wolf
Point sophomore Peyton Summers
could challenge for the title. He was
36th last year.
Lane Thompson was 40th last
year, Reed Larsen 49th, Blake Lloyd
52nd, and Bergen Miller 58th. All of
them figure to finish higher. Dalton
Sand and Kyler Holinde will run in
their first state meet.
Glasgow boys could bring

have an excellent run.
