CHEVENING ESSAYS – 2018

Chào a/c/bạn, application form năm nay open rồi nhé, mình xin gửi các essay
questions của Chevening. Deadline submit lên platform là ngày 06/11/2018.
A/c/bạn viết draft trả lời cho các essays sau và gửi mình lại trước ngày 10/09/2018
để mình feedback và sửa lại. Trong quá trình, nếu không brainstorm được ideas / gặp
khó khăn có thể inbox mình nhé.
Sau Giai đoạn 01, các a/c/bạn sửa lại hoàn chỉnh essays hay nhất có thể. Gửi lại mình
proofread lần cuối ngày 30/09/2018. Sau đó mọi người sẽ tự chỉnh lại và nộp nhé.

* Leadership and influence

Chevening is looking for individuals who will be future leaders or influencers in their
home countries. Explain how you meet this requirement, using clear examples of your
own leadership and influencing skills to support your answer.

NOTE: viết cái này có con số càng tốt / kể câu chuyện ra, kèm thêm một vài câu
viết rằng với leaderships skills / experience này sau này tôi return, tôi có thể cống
hiến, giúp ích dc gì đó cho Chevening / cho community

* Networking

Chevening is looking for individuals with strong professional relationship building

skills, who will engage with the Chevening community and influence and lead others
in their chosen profession. Please explain how you build and maintain relationships in
a professional capacity, using clear examples of how you currently do this, and
outline how you hope to use these skills in the future. (minimum word count: 100
words; maximum word count: 500 words)

có fb group / có viết chia sẻ bài reach XXX nghìn người / có hay tham gia
networking events và build network với cộng đồng YYY [lưu y là nen lien quan
đến cv và ngành mình sẽ apply] Nên cuối bài thêm 1 câu về nhờ có networking
này ket hop voi networking quốc tế của Chev thì tôi benefit thế nào, và sau này
tôi contribute thế nào để expand Chevening network / benefit community

* Studying in the UK

Outline why you have selected your chosen three university courses, and explain how
this relates to your previous academic or professional experience and your plans for
the future. Please do not duplicate the information you have entered on the work
experience and education section of this form (minimum word count: 100 words,
maximum word count: 500 words)
!!br0ken!! NOTE: viết cái này nên 1 khen UK 1 xíu, 2 – xem qua các khoá học
search trên mạng và xem syllabus họ dạy gì để input vào tên các môn và explain
tai sao nó có ích cho career / plans tương lai của mình. Viết 1 vài câu về môi
trường học quốc tế ở UK và how that benefits mình. Có thể chọn 1 ngành mà 3
trường khác nhau, hoặc 1 trường mà 3 ngành khác nhau. Tuy nhiên mình nghĩ
là nên chỉ muốn học 1 ngành thôi cho dễ viết, vì nếu viết 2-3 ngành ko match
nhau ko khớp với career plan thì rất khó convincing.

* Career Plan

Chevening is looking for individuals who have a clear post-study career plan. Please
outline your immediate plans upon returning home and your longer term career goals.
You may wish to consider how these relate to what the UK government is doing in
your country. (minimum word count: 100 words, maximum word count: 500 words)
Cái này nên chia làm short-term and long-term plans: ngay khi về, 5 năm,, 10
năm, và xa hơn. Lưu y là suy nghĩ ideas nào mà có đóng góp cho nhân loại, cho
cộng đồng nhé 😊 đừng viết là để tăng lương.
