‘It’s a Wonderful Time’ to be in Glasgow


It’s a wonderful time of the year for everyone arrived in Glasgow last week and popped into BS
including Doug Stebleton, who has been coming Central to say hi and got a few posters printed to

What a phone-baloney!
Then there’s this John Thune, Republican U.S.
Senator from South Dakota who is whining that he isn’t
going to campaign for another term in the Senate. His
main reason? He feels the Republican Party is paying
too much attention to Donald Trump for 2024. Waaa!
I just sent an e-mail to Thune asking him what is more
important to him....his dislike of Trump or his (Thune’s)
ability to help the Republican Party right this sinking
ship. I’m not expecting an answer. The taxpayers of this
country have paid his salary for 18 years. Taking an
average per year Thune has been paid $2,700.000 over
the years. And that doesn’t count all the perks. Sure, for
a family man this is not the best job in the world what
with the 2,000 miles separating him and his family but
he knew all that before he applied for the job.
