RESOLUTION NO. 10
Series of 2018

RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE HEREIN FORMULATED BARANGAY PEACE AND ORDER AND
PUBLIC SAFETY PLAN (BPOPS) FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 2018-2020 AND RESPECFULLY ENDORSING THE
SAME TO THE BARANGAY COUNCIL OF PANIANGAN, MANTICAO, MISAMIS ORIENTAL FOR THEIR REVIEW
AND APPROVAL

WHEREAS, paragraph (b), section 109 of the Local Government Code of 1991, otherwise known as R. A. 7160, provides:
(b) The Barangay Development Council shall exercise…
(1) Mobilize people’s participation in local development efforts;
(2) Prepare barangay development plans based on local requirements;
(3) Monitor and evaluate the implementation of national or local programs and
projects; and
(4) Perform usch other functions as ma be provided by law or competent
authority;

WHEREAS, the BPOC formulated policies, plans and programs based on the general principles as part of the preparation of
BADPA;

WHEREAS, said plan is hereby required for the general welfare of its citizens especially in the local government level, the
barangay itself;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Ludy D. Ello which was duly seconded by Rogelio M. Alcido, it was:

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to approve and adopt the BPOPS for the calendar year 2018-2020 and
respectfully endorse to the Barangay Council of Paniangan, Manticao, Misamis Oriental for their review and approval
APPROVED AND ADOPTED 11 December 2018.
