A. Content Standard
The learners demonstrate understanding on the principle of designing and
sewing of the ladies’ trousers.

B. Performance Standard
The learners plan design and sew ladies’ trousers.

CHARADES
- The class is divided into 2 groups.
- Each group has one (1) representative to pick a word and She/he
will act the word; and
- One of the member will be guessing the word given.
- The group has a highest point will be declared as a winner.

TAKING BODY MEASUREMENTS FOR PANTS presentation  Demonstration
The success in garment construction depends on
accurate measurements before pattern drafting,
body measurements should be taken to determine
the correct pattern to be used.
1. Pants Length- Measured along the waist
down to the desired length of the pants.
2. Crotch or Rise- Measured by placing a ruler
under the crotch then measuring below the
waistband down to the top of level ruler.
3. Waist- Taken around the smallest part of the
waistline. Insert two fingers under the tape
measure for ease or allowance.  Powerpoint
4. Hip or Seat- Taken around the fullest part of presentation

5. Bottom Measure- Taken around the fullest
part of the bottom.

 By pair
 They perform how to take the body
