I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the learners are expected to:
 discuss and enumerate the tips in taking body parts measurement for
ladies’ trousers;
 appreciate the importance of taking body parts measurements for
ladies’ trouser; and
 perform taking body parts measurements in making ladies trouser.
II. Subject Matter
Topic : Body Parts to be Measured in Making Ladies’ Trousers
Materials : TV, PowerPoint Presentation, Tape Measure
Reference : Grade 10 Learning Module – Dressmaking
III. Procedure
A. Preliminary Activities
The class will start with Prayer, Greetings, and Checking of attendance
Setting the classroom standard
Review the previous topic

B. Motivation (5 mins)
The teacher will play a video related to the topic.

The students will be ask:


1. What did you observe on the video?
2. What happened to the white pants of the girl?
3. What do you think is the main reason why the white pants ripped?
4A’s: Activity Proper
A. Activity (15 mins)
The teacher will group the students into 3.
The teacher will present Dice Questions.
Each group will roll the dice. Only 2 chances to roll the dice to get score.
Each number of dice corresponds question and score. The group will be
given 2 minutes to
answer the question.
B. Analysis (5 mins)
- What have you learned in our activity?
- Why do we need to know the correct or accurate measurements in
making ladies’ trousers?
- What are the importance in taking body parts measurement for ladies’
trousers?

C. Abstractions (15 mins )


The teacher will discuss:
 Tips in Taking body parts measurement for ladies’ trousers
 Body parts to be measured in making trousers
 Importance of taking correct measurements.

D. Application (10 mins)


The teacher will be pair the students to perform the body parts measuring in
making ladies’ trouser. One as client to be measure and another one to
perform the body measuring.
IV. Evaluation
Direction: In ¼ sheet of paper, Enumerate the Body Parts to be measure in
Making trousers.
