Part A: Introduce vocabulary 15’
- Show Ss either picture card 23 or a book.
- Say book.
- Have Ss listen and repeat each word
several times.
- Do the same with picture cards 24-30 or
the classroom items.
Part B: play a game 8’
- Hold up and name two things relating to
the lesson.
- Have Ss read it.
- Do the same again, naming the other
things.

Part B: Listen, point and 15’

11 and look at the pictures and play CD

- Have Ss listen, repeat and point to the
pictures.
a/ Practice: Play a game 15’
- Divide the class into 2 groups.
- Place picture cards on the floor.
- Say BOOK, for example, and Ss1 find
the card, and pick it up and say BOOK.
- Have Ss1 name another card and Ss2
find. Continue until Ss have had a turn.
- Group has the right answers, they will be
the winners.
