The students will:

terms using a semantic map.
2. Make their attention be focused on the objectives of the lessons.
Firm-up:
1. The students will read a text about: Keyboard Shortcuts to Go a Desired Cell; The
Different Types of Mouse Pointers in Excel 2007; Selecting a Range of Cells; Entering
Data; Entering Formulas; Clearing Data; To Hide or Display the Fill Handle; To Fill Data
into Adjacent Using the Fill Handle; To Use the Fill Command; Using Find and Replace;
To Replace a Text String; Find and Replace Format; and Going to a Specific Cell as the
teacher gives them the copy and let them understand the ideas written there.
2. Check on students’ reading comprehension about the texts.
3. Evaluate students’ responses to comprehension questions.
Deepen:
1. Give the class individual written activity under Lesson Review on pages 27, 36,45, and
49.
2. Give the class an individual written activity under Chapter Review on pages 51-52.
3. Give the class a pair Hands-on Exercise (2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, 2.5, 2.6, 2.7, and 2.8) on
pages 26, 32, 34, 40, and 48.
Transfer:
Each pair will present their outputs to the whole class provided with their knowledge
about the Keyboard Shortcuts to Go a Desired Cell; The Different Types of Mouse Pointers in
Excel 2007; Selecting a Range of Cells; Selecting Non-Adjacent Cells; Excel; Entering Data;
Entering Formulas; Clearing Data; To Hide or Display the Fill Handle; To Fill Data into Adjacent
Using the Fill Handle; To Use the Fill Command; Using Find and Replace; To Replace a Text
String; Find and Replace Format; and Going to a Specific Cell. They will be graded by an
analytic rubric prepared by the teacher.
