The learner demonstrates key concepts of understanding of responsible parenthood for
healthy family life.
The learner is well informed and values-based decisions in preparation for responsible
parenthood
Learning Competency: explain the importance of courtship, dating and marriage.
Learning Objectives:
1.explain the importance of courtship, dating and marriage;
2.Recognize the different factors that contribute to a successful marriage;
3. make a plan on how to have a successful marriage life.

 After the prayer, the teacher will check the attendance, and remind the students the
value of respect. ( Everyone is expected to share. Keep in mind that the role of the
teacher is to make sure that everyone's voice is heard in class)
The teacher will give an energizer that suit to the new lesson instruction will be given.
After the activity the teacher will ask about the activity.
And present the new lesson by showing different pictures. (The teacher will ask about the
pictures )
What can say about the pictures? Very good, another answer, please raise your hand if you
want to participate.
After the sharing, the teacher asks questions that will connect or lead to the new lesson
The teacher will take note on their different answers and write some of them on the board.
Group Activity
The teacher will divide the class into three each group will be given pieces of paper In order
to write their answer.

The teacher will ask the questions.
Anyone here have a crush? Yes it is normal to have a crush.
Based on the video what have you observed?
What are the things that you do when you love a person, specifically your parents and
siblings?
Yes , in the video we can see family who are arguing, the mother and the father, also there
are happy family.

How are you going to differentiate love from crush or infatuation?
All relationship starts with attraction where in you admires someone and that you suddenly
want to get to know that person better.
The difference between infatuation from love is that you don’t recognized person flaws.
Having crush can last for a few months and that kind of feeling is totally normal especially to
you my dear grade 8 learner.
In order to have a happy family these are the things need to consider.
Courtship and Dating is very important to have a lifelong partner.
So the teacher will discuss the new lesson about “ Courtship, Dating and Marriage”
What is your idea about the picture?
In our country Philippine courtship is being practiced.
