Dracula, Unique Vampire

“His face was a strong, a very strong, aquiline, with high bridge of
the thin nose and peculiarly arched nostrils, with lofty domed
forehead, and hair growing scantily round the temples but profusely
elsewhere. His eyebrows were very massive, almost meeting over the
nose, and with bushy hair that seemed to curl in its own profusion.
The mouth, so far as I could see it under the heavy moustache, was
fixed and rather cruel-looking, with peculiarly sharp white teeth.
These protruded over the lips, whose remarkable ruddiness showed
astonishing vitality in a man of his years. For the rest, his ears
were pale, and at the tops extremely pointed. The chin was broad and
strong, and the cheeks firm though thin. The general effect was one
of extraordinary pallor.” – Bram Stoker, Dracula

Cult
Dracula possesses no cult. If any does exist he cares nothing for it.
He does, however, command the loyalty of a small army of servants.
These range from bands of Gypsies and Slovaks, to his numerous
brides, to those insane individuals that have pledged loyalty to him
in exchange for promise of eternal life. Dracula is also said to be
the king of vampires, holding some sway over the others of his kind.

SPECIAL ABILITIES

Spells: Dracula studied the black arts at Scolomance, a secret

academy headed by an entity that claims to be the Devil. As such he
knows numerous spells, commanding a knowledge of magic that rivals
the greatest sorcerers. He specializes in necromancy.

Powers: Below are just a sample of the immense powers possessed by

the monster.

– Baptism of Blood: After draining a victim of blood through a bite

attack (see Attacks below), Dracula may share his own blood with the
victim, turning them into a vampire. Dracula may also share his blood
with those he has not drained, bringing them under his complete
psychic control. This control can only be broken on the destruction
of the monster.

– Climb: Dracula may climb any surface.

– Command Animals: At will, Dracula may summon swarms of bats, moths,

rats, and wolves to do his bidding. These animals are not suicidal
nor under his complete control. They will break and flee in the face
of their own death.

– Flight: At will, Dracula may fly or levitate. His speed while

flying is equal to his Move (see below).
– Hypnosis: On eye contact, Dracula may bring a target under his
control, forcing them to act against their will. Only a successful
Hard POW roll will free the target of the hypnotic commands.

– Invisibility: At will, Dracula may turn invisible.

– Shapeshift: At will, Dracula may transform into a bat, a wolf, or a

mist. As a mist, he is able to slip through even the most minuscule
spaces.

Telepathy: At will, Dracula may communicate telepathically with

anyone in his vicinity or afflict them with powerful hallucinations.
Only a successful Hard POW roll will break the psychic link.

– Teleportation: At will, Dracula may teleport from one place to

another if he knows of a path to his destination. Walls, doors, or
even fire may not impede him. In addition, he can teleport into
graves in unhallowed ground.

– Weather Control: At will, Dracula may summon fog and storms in his
vicinity.

Weaknesses:

– Blood Thirst: Dracula must feed on the living each day to survive.
He prefers female victims. At the sight of blood he falls into an
uncontrolled rage. Though he will not die if he does not feed, he
will age, appearing decrepit.

– Invitation: Dracula may not enter a residence unless invited.

– Soil: Dracula must rest in the soil from his home country of
Transylvania. If injured, Dracula will not regain hit points if he
does not rest in his home soil.

– Religious Symbol: Dracula is repulsed by religious symbols. Their

presence causes him fear. Touched by them, he loses 1d4 hit points
and all of his powers for one round.

– Sunlight: Unlike other vampires, Dracula is not harmed by the light

of the sun. He still finds himself exhausted and weakened, losing all
of his vampiric powers.

– Water: Unless carried over, Dracula may not cross water except at
high and low tide.
