Explanation

Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan

The teacher enters class, asks the class how they are. Next, turns on the computer and reflects the Prezi slide
on the board, presents it. Afterwards, asks the class to open their Çalışma Kitabı page 7, and gives the students
5-7 minutes to match the colors with their names. Next, the answers are discussed and checked in class. Moves
on to the next activity, opens the Tapescript 5.2, students listen and tick the correct color. The tape is played 2
times, then answers are checked all together in the class. Teacher asks the students to go to the next page and
take out their colorful pencils. Instructions are given to listen to the tape and to color the toys accordingly.
Tape 5.3 is played twice; students color the toys. Teacher provides the correct answers. Teacher asks class to
turn the page to 10, students match the pictures with the words in 5 minutes given, and answers checked in
class all together. Then, Tapescript 5.4 is played twice, and students circle the correct answer. Finally, a kahoot
game is played in class, so the students can evaluate themselves and the teacher can assess the productivity of
the class, activities and presentation.
The problem the teacher might face is the insufficiency of the class time, so if it seems like there won’t be time
for Kahoot, which is a very important activity for the class, the book activity (part B page 10) can be given as
homework, in order to create time for Kahoot game. If it still looks like the time won’t be enough, page 10,
listening activity (Tape 5.4) could be omitted, to be done in the following classes.
Another problem the teacher might face is problems with electricity or internet. As the teacher will be using
projector and a computer for the class completely, this might cause a great problem. For this, the teacher can
print out the presentation and the Kahoot questions beforehand, and distribute them in case of a problem as
such. The teacher might as well bring Flashcards to present them instead of Prezi in case the electricity goes
off.
