INTRODUCTION

 Our topic is all about FIRE PREVENTION So, when we say FIRE
PREVENTION
From the word itself PREVENTION meaning ito po yung mga
hakbang at kasanayan sa Pag iwas, Pag pigil at Pag sugpo sa sunog.

2ND SLIDE (PAKI BASA)

 Fire is a good friend of man if properly utilized, but it will turn into a man-
made hazard when neglected.

So, bakit sinabing Fire is a good friend of man?? Sapagkat ang Apoy

ay isa sa mga pinakamahalagang bagay na nadiscover noong unang

panahon. dahil yung mga sinaunang tao dati, apoy ang ginagamit nila

bilang pangluto, Ilaw, panglaban sa lamig at sa mga mabangis na

hayop. At kahit naman ngyon ay nagagamit parin natin ang apoy sa

pang araw araw, Pero syempre lahat ng bagay may hangganan o

limitasyon lalo na kapag hindi ginamit ng tama at napabayaan kagaya

ng po apoy kapag hindi ginamit ng tama at napabayaan ay nagiging

mapanganib at delikado para satin. At sabi nga ng iba MAS MABUTI

PANG MANAKAWA KAYSA MASUNUGAN.

 Fire is the rapid oxidation of matter accompaneed by heat or flame. Many

people are injured and die because of fires, which there are some instances
that could be prevented. 

So Dahil nga po mabilis kumalat ang apoy dahil sa heat or init na

naggagaling isang bagay na nasusunog. Ay nagiging dahilan din ito
kung bakit maraming napipinsala, at kung minsan nagiging sanhi din
ng pagkamatay ng ilan.

 There are also losses of property because there is no time to neither gather
valuables nor make a phone call since fire spreads in seconds and a residence
can be engulfed in flames in just five minutes. The Consequences of fire bring a
strong impact on the victims.

At alam naman natin noh na marami sa mga nasusunugan ay wala

talaga o kakaunti lamang naisasalabang mga mahahalagang gamit o
ari arian dahil nga segundo lamang ang pagkalat ng apoy lalo na
kapag malakas ang hangi ay mas lalong bumibilis din ang pagkalat
ito, na kung saan ay kaya nyang iwashout yung mga tirahan na
nandun. At dahil dito ay nagkakaroon troma or impact ito sa mga
nagiging biktima.

4TH SLIDE
SO SATINGIN NYO PO BAKIT KAILANGAN NATING MATUTUNAN AT
MALAMAN ANG FIRE PREVENTION??

Sapagkat kung matutunan at malalaman natin ang fire prevention ay

maiaapply natin yung mga kaalaman at natutunan natin dito upang
maiwasan natin ang mga ibat ibang injury at pinsala na maiidudulot
ng sunog at upang maiwasan ang ganitong uri ng sitwasyon.

Mahalagang din na maunawan at maintindihan natin ang

characteristic or katangian ng Apoy, para sa proteksyon ng ating
sarili. Sapagkat ang usok na iipoproduce ng isang sunog ay
nakakalason at mas delikado pa ito kaysa sa apoy. Dahil kung
maiinhale natin yung usok galing sa sunog pwede tayong masofocate
at mawalan ng malay, nakung saan ito ang madalas na nagiging
dahilan kung bakit may mga namamatay sa sunog.

So alamin po natin kung pano nga ba na poproduced ang Fire.

5TH SLIDE
Nature of Fire
Fire may be produced if the three conditions or elements are present, namely:
FUEL, HEAT, and OXYGEN.

Isa isahin po natin kung ano nga ba yang mga elements na yan at
bakit natin ito kailangan malaman. But TAKE NOTE PO na ang FIRE is
a process and it is a chemical reaction that is the result of the
combination of the 3 elements mentioned.
Chemical reaction that lead chemical transformation of one set of chemical
substances to another. (CHANGE OF COLOR, TEMP CHANGE, RELEASE OF GAS,)

FIRE is a chemical reaction that CONVERTS a FUEL and OXYGEN into CARBON

DIOXIDE and water.

So First elements po is FUEL

6TH SLIDE (PAKI BASA)

FUEL- Any kind of combustible material or can burn, including paper, oils,
wood, gases, fabrics, plastics and rubber. It is an essential substance that
burned on any matter capable of burning.

So meaning ito daw po yung mga bagay na madaling masunog

kagaya ng mga papel, langis, kahoy, gases or gasolina, fabrics or tela,
plastic at goma. And ang fuel din ang mahalagang substance po sa 3
element ng fire na may kakayahang magliyab o masunog.
7TH SLIDE
HEAT- It come from open flames, sparks, or hot surfaces that is needed to
raise the fuel to its ignition temperature and it is also needed to maintain the
fire and enable it to spread.

So yung heat po is a form of energy from open flames, sparks or in

hot surfaces nakung saan po is capable or may kakayahan si heat
para iraise o itaas yung temperature. Sa makatuwid ang FUEL po is
kailangan ng SAPAT NA HEAT para po magkaroon flame or apoy.

8TH SLIDE (PAKI BASA)

OXYGEN- A color less, odorless gas and one of the composition of air. It also
supports the chemical processes that occur during fire and necessary to
sustain combustion.

So ilang nga ang oxygen ang meron tayo sa air. So, we have 21% of
oxygen po.

And take Note: That 12% of oxygen cannot produced fire bakit po??
Kasi po kahit na MAY FUEL TAYO, at MAY HEAT kung wala pong
sapat na oxygen sa isang lugar hindi po ito makakaproduce ng fire.
ang sapat na oxygen na kailangan po para maka pagproduce ng fire
is 21% po.

So ayan daw po yung 3 elements na enough na to produce fire. But

ayon po dun sa naresearch ko na theory which is the FIRE
TETRAHIDRON THEORY, kahit may FUEL ka, may HEAT, at OXYGEN
kung walang CHAIN REACTION between the 3 elements then we
don’t have Fire po, Para daw po magkaroon tayo ng Fire.. kailangan
po ng CHAIN REACTION between the 3 elements. Ito po ay base sa
FIRE TETRAHEDRON THEORY. Na kung wala daw yung Chain Reaction
between the 3 elements wala daw pong maproproduce na fire.
A burning candle or other fire is an example of a chemical chain
reaction. When a flammable material is surrounded by enough oxygen
and is exposed to a source of heat or temperature above the flash point, a
fire starts.

This fourth element (the chemical chain reaction) has been added to
demonstrate how these three sources (oxygen, heat and fuel) interact to
create fire.

9TH SLIDE
Knowing the three elements of fire enables us to learn how to control the fire
to light it, keep it lit, and put it out on our terms

If any of the three elements are removed from a fire, then it will extinguish
and no longer pose a threat.

Since alam na natin yung 3 elements ng Fire. Nagbibigay-daan ito

satin na matutunan kung paano natin makocontrol at mababawasan
ang lawak ng pinsala na maaaring idulot ng isang sunog .if ever na
mangyari ito.
