1. Tính từ ngắn (Adj-ngắn): là tính từ có 1 âm tiết (big,
short, tall, bad, good, hot, cold, cool, small, long, thin,
high, large..)
- Công thức:
S1 + be + Adj-ngắn + er + than + S2
Ex: My house is bigger than your house

Tính từ So sánh hơn So sánh nhất

2. Tính từ dài (Adj-dài): là tính từ có 2 âm tiết trở lên

(modern, expensive, comfortable, historic, beautiful,
handsome (đẹp trai), wonderful,intelligent,stupid,…)
- Công thức:
S1 + be + more + Adj-dài + than + S2
Ex: I am more beautiful than my sister

* Ngoại lệ: Những tính từ có 2 âm tiết nhưng kết thúc

bằng y,ow, et,er thì chia giống tính từ ngắn.
- happy  happier  the happiest
- lucky  luckier  the luckiest
- funny  funnier  the funniest
- noisy  noisier  the noisiest
- clever  cleverer  the cleverest
- narrow  narrower  the narrowest
- quiet  quieter  the quietest

B. So sánh nhất: (THE)

1. Tính từ ngắn (Adj-ngắn): là tính từ có 1 âm tiết (big,
short, tall, bad, good, hot, cold, cool, small, long, thin,
high, large, stronge,..)
- Công thức:
S1 + be + THE + Adj-ngắn + est

Ex: I am the tallest in my family/ in the world.

2. Tính từ dài (Adj-dài):

- Công thức:
S1 + be + THE MOST + Adj-dài

Ex: I am the most beautiful in my school.
