Activity (Presentation) The class will be divided into two. Each group will be assigned one classification of Sewing Tools.
The teacher will show pictures of the different sewing tools. Let each group to pick the tools which is
under their assigned classification. Assign one member to report their output in the class.

Analysis Ask the following questions:

1. What are the different classifications of sewing tools?
Marking Tools, Pinning Tools
2. Describe the functions of Marking tools and Pinning tools.
• Marking Tools- are required for transferring pattern markings to garment fabric pieces and
for making alterations on garments.

 Pinning Tools- keep the fabrics in place while cutting or sewing
