This portfolio covers the Final Semister of my online learning class at Southern
Leyte State University, as well as many activities that I did since the Pandemic embarked. I
am presenting range of documents that demonstrate my understanding of and competency
in the principles. Many of these outputs show my knowledge, skills and disposition of
equity and my ability to work as a student.

I want to especially thank many instructors and supervising teachers who have
contribute to growth in so many ways. They given their time, money, effort and expertise to
provide support and maintain our learning even in the middle of this situation. Through

Module 3: Methods in Research

1. Which among the different research designs you prefer to use (personally, regardless of
your research topic/objectives)? Briefly explain.

Answer: I prefer to use descriptive design because it can provide an in-depth view of
any topic and personally I prefer this one because the level of detail is significantly
reliable regardless of any research topic or objectives. In my own opinion, this is a
practical kind of research design to use because it can be improved through
observation, analysis, and description

Rationale:
This Chapter is designed and written to us learners, in mind which presented and
discussed in this Chapter. It is made with the goal of producing globally competitive
learners, and to prepared students to their future and studies order to navigate this with
ease, this is created in contextualize and simpler manner.
This can be made precise, accurate and dependable way too easily to achieve the
program outcome. To this end we consider learning targets involving knowledge and high-
order thinking skills. This activity aim to implement the research proposal imbued with the
University’s Vision and Mission in generating new knowledge fro specialization. It was
design to productive and helps to expand our knowledge and abilities.

Reflection:
In this self-selected document for this subject entails my understanding. I choose
this activity because it fits my learning understanding, this activity teach me of what must
the best research design fits we need to choose before creating research proposal
personally, regardless of our research topic / objectives. This activity required critical
thinking skills as we need to conduct and research about the research problems, objectives,
titles. This is not just develops our critical thinking skills but also to widens our knowledge
on what important things we must focus every time we do a research proposal. These

activities help us to become a good leader and productive one, become globally competitive
in any aspect. This activity made me realized that constructing research proposal is not
about how you formulate interesting problems but what’s more important is how will
your problems can help to the society. Hence, this activity did not just develop our ability
to make concrete analysis but also taught us how to search and solve the problems.

Moreover, the elements we achieved from the program outcomes in this output is
that we’re able to manifest our critical thinking skills aw we create or formulate objectives.
It enhanced both our analysis and high order thinking skills in research. Indeed this activity
helped us dissect and what decent research is compromised of. I’m very glad that this
become one of our activities for this subject for it helped me to better understand the
things we must know to create good research proposal which could greatly improve my
understanding and ability to criticize problems. I hope that I keep myself exposed with this
kind of works for it is beneficial considering that I am not just a language but also a future
educator.
