Standard preparations before the lesson
A.MOTIVATION
Let the students listen to the different Characteristics of Musical Styles.
B. DEVELOPMENT OF THE LESSON
A.ACTIVITY (Groupings)
The students are asked to arrange the puzzled words given relating to the composers who
used traditional styles, after arranging the puzzled words give some information and share it to
the class.

2. What are the benefits that we can get in studying Contemporary Music?
3.What musical styles they have used?
4.What are the Contributions of the composers in Philippine music?
A. ABSTRACTION
Why do you think we need to know their Characteristics of Musical Style?
A. APPLICATION
Given a puzzled words, the students are asked to arrange the name of the composers
and give some information relating to the composers that they have done every group is given
5minutes to discuss the musical style of the composers.
