RESEARCH IDENTIFY EXAMPLES OF WHAT RESEARCH WAS UNDERTAKEN

FOR YOUR TV ADVERT. INCLUDE BOTH PRIMARY AND
SECONDARY RESEARCH EXAMPLES.
For my primary research, I set up Microsoft Form to gather
feedback for my TV advert. For my secondary research, I
looked at different examples of coffee adverts on YouTube. This
helped by giving inspiration to what I like and what I would use
for creating my TV advert in addition to what I did not like in the
adverts and suggest how can this be improved.

PLANNING IDENTIFY EXAMPLES OF WHAT PLANNING WAS UNDERTAKEN

FOR YOUR TV ADVERT. THIS MIGHT INCLUDE SCRIPTS,
STORYBOARDS, LOCATION RECCES ETC.
I wrote a production schedule to plan what tasks are needed to
be completed and a call sheet for contacting the other members
of my team. This helped to determine what time we were
required to meet at our set recording location.
The other members of my team (Spencer and Dylan) wrote the
risk assessments to identify any risks and how we would
prevent them from occurring, a contingency plan in case
something goes wrong during the production of our shoot and a
location recce to identity locations needed for shooting our
advert.

TEAM PLAYER IDENTIFY A PERSONAL EXAMPLE OF HOW YOU WERE AN

EFFECTIVE TEAM PLAYER ON THE TV ADVERT PRODUCTION.
I was effective in producing ideas for our team’s TV advert and I
helped with cleaning the set and putting away props after
shooting footage for our advert.

PROBLEM SOLVING IDENTIFY A PROBLEM WHICH YOU HAD TO SOLVE REGARDING

YOUR TV ADVERT. THIS MIGHT INCLUDE SOMETHING WHICH
HAPPENED IN PRE-PRODUCTION, PRODUCTION OR POST-
PRODUCTION. HOW DID YOU SOLVE THE PROBLEM?
During the production of our TV advert, me and the rest of team
needed to collect props for our shoot but due to a lack of
communication from each other on Microsoft Teams we ended up
bringing multiple of the same prop or had brought props that were not
particularly useful for our shoot. We solved the problem by planning to
use Teams more so we can prevent mistakes.

OWNERSHIP IDENTIFY AN EXAMPLE OF HOW YOU ACTED INDEPENDENTLY

OR RESOURCEFULLY ON YOUR TV ADVERT PRODUCTION.
An example of this would be editing my definitive version of my advert
by using tools such as; marking in and out my preferred shots to put
onto my main timeline and finding royalty free audio effects.

LEARN AND IMPROVE IDENTIFY AT LEAST ONE THING YOU HAVE LEARNED ON YOUR
TV ADVERT PRODUCTION AND AT LEAST ONE THING YOU
HAVE IMPROVED UPON. THIS MIGHT BE TECHNICAL,
COMMUNICATIVE, ACADEMIC etc.
I learned how to green screen people and objects by using a tool on
Adobe Premiere Pro called “Ultra key” and using the eyedropper tool to
key out the green screen.

I would improve my cinematography skills to make my advert more

dynamic and interesting.

MEET DEADLINES HOW SUCCESSFUL WERE YOU IN MEETING SPECIFIC

DEADLINES FOR THE TV ADVERT PRODUCTION. THIS WILL
INCLUDE DEADLINES SET FOR PRE-PRODUCTION,
PRODUCTION AND POST-PRODUCTION.
I was able to meet my deadline for pre-production, production, and
post-production. This shows great time management skills in both
teams and on my own.

Be as detailed as you can with all sections of this task.
