RESEARCH IDENTIFY EXAMPLES OF WHAT RESEARCH WAS UNDERTAKEN

FOR YOUR TV ADVERT. INCLUDE BOTH PRIMARY AND
SECONDARY RESEARCH EXAMPLES.
Primary and secondary research were undertaken for my
TV advert project. For primary I had sent out a survey to
collect responses for my advert and the product itself. For
secondary, the first part I had done was collecting second
hand data about website traffic for JeanPaulGaultier.com
for ages and gender to receive an average target audience.
The second was getting a collection of adverts for the
product I was doing this advert project about.

PLANNING IDENTIFY EXAMPLES OF WHAT PLANNING WAS UNDERTAKEN

FOR YOUR TV ADVERT. THIS MIGHT INCLUDE SCRIPTS,
STORYBOARDS, LOCATION RECCES ETC.
Many aspects of planning was undertaken for this project
with my group, which included a script and storyboard for
how the advert will play out, a location recce, production
schedule, risk assessment, call sheet and a contingency
plan.

TEAM PLAYER IDENTIFY A PERSONAL EXAMPLE OF HOW YOU WERE AN

EFFECTIVE TEAM PLAYER ON THE TV ADVERT PRODUCTION.
I believe that I have been an effective team player on my
groups TV advert production, by completing the majority of
the pre-production sheets with another group member,
helping my group members catch up with any missing
work, and of course, being the model and providing the
prop for the filming of our advert.

PROBLEM SOLVING IDENTIFY A PROBLEM WHICH YOU HAD TO SOLVE REGARDING

YOUR TV ADVERT. THIS MIGHT INCLUDE SOMETHING WHICH
HAPPENED IN PRE-PRODUCTION, PRODUCTION OR POST-
PRODUCTION. HOW DID YOU SOLVE THE PROBLEM?
A problem that I had faced regarding my TV advert had
actually stemmed from the post-production, and trying to
find music that I enjoyed, but most importantly being
royalty free and still retaining a link to the advert. I
overcame this by finding some royalty free music that gave
a powerful feeling, which is what I had wanted, due to the
message of our advert being that of subverting the
stereotypes of only women being able to use feminine
perfume.
OWNERSHIP IDENTIFY AN EXAMPLE OF HOW YOU ACTED INDEPENDENTLY
OR RESOURCEFULLY ON YOUR TV ADVERT PRODUCTION.
An example of how I had acted independently during my TV
advert production was for task 1 and 2, where I had to
choose what product I wished to advertise, and research
about it, then choosing what product our group was going
to advertise, and researching that too.

LEARN AND IMPROVE IDENTIFY AT LEAST ONE THING YOU HAVE LEARNED ON YOUR
TV ADVERT PRODUCTION AND AT LEAST ONE THING YOU
HAVE IMPROVED UPON. THIS MIGHT BE TECHNICAL,
COMMUNICATIVE, ACADEMIC etc.
One thing I have learnt to use while on my TV advert
production was how to correctly and effectively use Adobe
After Effects for greenscreen purposes. One thing I have
improved my ability on during the TV advert production is
the effective use of different lighting and editing on
Premiere Pro.

MEET DEADLINES HOW SUCCESSFUL WERE YOU IN MEETING SPECIFIC

DEADLINES FOR THE TV ADVERT PRODUCTION. THIS WILL
INCLUDE DEADLINES SET FOR PRE-PRODUCTION,
PRODUCTION AND POST-PRODUCTION.
I believe that my group were very successful in meeting
specific deadlines for the TV advert production, as there
have been multiple instances where my group has been
ready to move on further in advance to the agreed upon
deadline, able to film and edit a week before planned.

Be as detailed as you can with all sections of this task.
