RESEARCH Some primary research we did was a survey after making the
advert to get peoples opinions. Another bit of primary research
we did was discussing in our group what product we should do.
We got our teams opinion and thoughts on different things we
could do.

Some research we did for out tv advert was looking at pre-

existing adverts. I first looked at the breakfast cereal Krave. I
looked at pre-existing adverts as well as surveys. For example,
the top breakfast cereal of 2020 and 2021.

I then went on to look at different water adverts. Including Evian,

Fiji, Voss and Volvic. I identified something I liked in each
advert, something I disliked and something we could use from
them.
PLANNING While we were planning our advert, we produced a storyboard
showing what we wanted to happen and when. We also
produced a script so that our actors knew what to say and do
and when. We did a production schedule to show when each
part of the advert would be done. A risk Assessment to evaluate
different hoards that could occur and how we could avoid or
lower the risk. A call sheet was produced so everyone knew
when we were expected to be there and where as well as our
phone numbers so if we are not where we are supposed to be
we can be easily contacted to find out why. A contingency plan
was made for any problem that could arise which was mainly
just the people not turning up. Finally, a location reece was
made done evaluating our place of filming showing how suitable
it was.
TEAM PLAYER I was a team player during tv advert by doing my share of the
planning documents. I completed the story board and location
reece. During filming I was mostly in charge of the panel light
holding the light in any weird awkward place needed.
PROBLEM SOLVING One issue we had while filming is the corridor, we were using not being
dark enough. We fixed this problem by making someone stand behind
the door letting in the light however light still crept through so we gave
him some jumpers to hold up behind him as well and then we got the
dark that we wanted.
OWNERSHIP I independently edited the tv advert by myself deciding what clips to
and to not use, editing the green screen footage and making a
kaleidoscope. I also found and picked out all my music.
LEARN AND IMPROVE One thing I have learnt to do on my tv advert project is green
screening. I’ve learnt about the lighting how you want some in front of
the object or people and behind them to stop any shadows. Following
that with green screening I learnt how to edit it to get rid of the green in
both after effects and premier pro. One thing I have improved upon is
definitely my premier pro skills. I am now way more confident using the
software with navigating things and everything.
MEET DEADLINES I believe I was semi-successful at meeting the deadlines. The final
work was in on time before the due date however I was a bit slow
getting the location reece done because I spent so much time on the
secondary research.

Be as detailed as you can with all sections of this task.
