RESEARCH IDENTIFY EXAMPLES OF WHAT RESEARCH WAS UNDERTAKEN

FOR YOUR TV ADVERT. INCLUDE BOTH PRIMARY AND
SECONDARY RESEARCH EXAMPLES.
Primary research – I made a survey to get people’s opinions on
my final outcome of my advert and to see if it promotes the
product well.
Secondary research – I analysed Jean Paul Gaultier adverts to
understand how he promotes his products and what I liked
about them to use similar elements in my advert.
PLANNING IDENTIFY EXAMPLES OF WHAT PLANNING WAS UNDERTAKEN
FOR YOUR TV ADVERT. THIS MIGHT INCLUDE SCRIPTS,
STORYBOARDS, LOCATION RECCES ETC.
As a group we completed the pre-production worksheets such
as location recce, contingency plan, script, storyboard, call
sheet, risk assessment and production schedule.
TEAM PLAYER IDENTIFY A PERSONAL EXAMPLE OF HOW YOU WERE AN
EFFECTIVE TEAM PLAYER ON THE TV ADVERT PRODUCTION.
I contributed by completing some of the pre-production
worksheets to help the group and I had the idea to include all of
us in the advert, which where the reaction shot came from.
PROBLEM SOLVING IDENTIFY A PROBLEM WHICH YOU HAD TO SOLVE REGARDING
YOUR TV ADVERT. THIS MIGHT INCLUDE SOMETHING WHICH
HAPPENED IN PRE-PRODUCTION, PRODUCTION OR POST-
PRODUCTION. HOW DID YOU SOLVE THE PROBLEM?
In the post-production stage of making my advert, I came
across the problem that my edit of my advert was too short, so I
had to add in some clips I didn’t like as much as the others to
make it reach the 30 seconds mark.
OWNERSHIP IDENTIFY AN EXAMPLE OF HOW YOU ACTED INDEPENDENTLY
OR RESOURCEFULLY ON YOUR TV ADVERT PRODUCTION.
I worked independently on task one of the tv advert project, where we
had to gather research for a product, we wanted to create an advert
for. I gathered
LEARN AND IMPROVE IDENTIFY AT LEAST ONE THING YOU HAVE LEARNED ON YOUR
TV ADVERT PRODUCTION AND AT LEAST ONE THING YOU
HAVE IMPROVED UPON. THIS MIGHT BE TECHNICAL,
COMMUNICATIVE, ACADEMIC etc.
I learnt how to add an effect on my title, so it gradually increases in
brightness when Geo says Jean Paul Gaultier. Something I could
improve on is seeing good sections in shots I’m not sure I like.
MEET DEADLINES HOW SUCCESSFUL WERE YOU IN MEETING SPECIFIC
DEADLINES FOR THE TV ADVERT PRODUCTION. THIS WILL
INCLUDE DEADLINES SET FOR PRE-PRODUCTION,
PRODUCTION AND POST-PRODUCTION.
In our group we finished the worksheets quite soon, so we got to
filming quite early and had a long time to get all the different shots we
wanted. We didn’t take too long filming so we ended up getting to edit
for quite a few weeks, which meant I got to explore new effects.
Be as detailed as you can with all sections of this task.
