RESEARCH IDENTIFY EXAMPLES OF WHAT RESEARCH WAS UNDERTAKEN

FOR YOUR TV ADVERT. INCLUDE BOTH PRIMARY AND
SECONDARY RESEARCH EXAMPLES.
The research that was undertaken for my TV advert was
looking at different adverts made by different trainer
companies like Nike and Adidas. By analysing these
adverts, we can see what kind of advert features are more
popular and are liked more by the target audience.

PLANNING IDENTIFY EXAMPLES OF WHAT PLANNING WAS UNDERTAKEN

FOR YOUR TV ADVERT. THIS MIGHT INCLUDE SCRIPTS,
STORYBOARDS, LOCATION RECCES ETC.

For my Tv advert We made a number of different pre-

production documents to help organise and plan how we
were going to make our advert. The documents included a
call sheet, a script, a risk assessment, a storyboard and a
location recce.

TEAM PLAYER IDENTIFY A PERSONAL EXAMPLE OF HOW YOU WERE AN

EFFECTIVE TEAM PLAYER ON THE TV ADVERT PRODUCTION.

In my group I was the camera operator for 90% of the

filming. I helped shoot the scenes properly and smoothly.

PROBLEM SOLVING IDENTIFY A PROBLEM WHICH YOU HAD TO SOLVE REGARDING

YOUR TV ADVERT. THIS MIGHT INCLUDE SOMETHING WHICH
HAPPENED IN PRE-PRODUCTION, PRODUCTION OR POST-
PRODUCTION. HOW DID YOU SOLVE THE PROBLEM?

We attempted to take a 360o shot of the trainers as the actor

moved around but we found this quite difficult without any kind of
equipment to assist us. So instead, we decided to completely
rework the scene and used different shots to show the trainers
instead.

OWNERSHIP IDENTIFY AN EXAMPLE OF HOW YOU ACTED INDEPENDENTLY

OR RESOURCEFULLY ON YOUR TV ADVERT PRODUCTION.

For the editing process everyone in our group made individual

edits using the footage and I took the footage home and worked
on my edit at home.
LEARN AND IMPROVE IDENTIFY AT LEAST ONE THING YOU HAVE LEARNED ON YOUR
TV ADVERT PRODUCTION AND AT LEAST ONE THING YOU
HAVE IMPROVED UPON. THIS MIGHT BE TECHNICAL,
COMMUNICATIVE, ACADEMIC etc.
On my production I learnt how to utilise the camera settings to
get better shots for the scenes that we planned. Before I didnt
really know a lot about the camera except for how to record and
zoom in but now I can adjust the camera film setting to get better
film quality
