1. Play a game to review vocabulary and/or grammar from previous lessons.


2. Alternatively, choose another appropriate pre-lesson activity that better suits pupils’

lesson.

II. LESSON DEVELOPMENT (30 MINS)

Activity A

1.       Pupils work in pairs to describe the two pictures on page 48.


2.       Teacher ask pupils the feelings of the girl in the top right picture.
3.       Pupils read the instructions and do the task individually.
4.       Pupils compare their answers with a friend.
5.       Teacher checks answer as a class
 
Activity B
1.       Pupils read the instructions
2.       Pupils write a or b while listening to the recording.
3.       Pupils listen to the recording again and check their answers
4.       Teacher checks answer as a class.

III. POST-LESSON: (10 MINS)


1. Ask pupils to identify with their talk partner(s) at least one new word or expression that they have
learned in relation to the lesson topic.
2. When pupils are ready, collect and share words/expressions as a whole class.
TEACHER’S REFLECTION: 30/40 of the pupils were able to achieve the learning objectives.
25/30 of the pupils were able to complete the assigned task(s).
5 of the pupils needed extra guidance/reinforcement.
