I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the student should be able to participate in Zumba as an
example if active recreation. Specifically, the students shall:
A. Explain the origin and nature of Zumba;
B. Increase awareness and appreciation of the importance of active engagement
in physical activities; and
C. Perform a short routine of Zumba and be able to follow the acting instructors
of the dance exercise.

4. Application: Zumba Fest!


a. Divide the class into five groups. Prepare five steps that are easy to follow
and could execute in correct rhythm and timing.
b. Have 2 representatives to act as lead in front while the rest of the group act
as followers.
c. Perform the prepared steps in the tune of Meghan Trainor’s song “Better
when I’m Dancing”.
d. Each of the learner will be graded according to the following rubric and score
