TASK 1 –VISUALIZE ME!

Directions: Give the appropriate response to the following scenario.

1. A Korean national is standing in front of a cashier and seems like hungry. The cashier
felt that he needs something to eat. Knowing his nationality what will you do to
communicate with him in getting his order?

Answer: I'm going to speak to him in English, plainly and slowly. But I'll utilize
body language if it makes him unable to understand me. I was able to
communicate through movement and gestures in this way. And to make eye
contact with him so he knows I'm genuinely trying to help.

2. There is Filipino Muslim who wants to eat in your restaurant. He seems tired and
need something to eat and drink. Upon knowing his ethnicity, what will be the food you
will offer to him to make him decide abruptly and satisfy his craving for food?

Answer: I’ll offer my suggestion to him to eat vegetable or any other meat except
pork meat since they didn’t eat pork meat because of their religion and culture i
can only offer vegetable or any meat except for pork meat.

3. There is cross dresser looking for perfume inside the mall where you are working. As
the sales clerk how will you address customer properly to avoid discrimination.

Answer: Knowing the identity of that person I will ask this person, what should or
how can I address her/him to make her/ him comfortable.
